Her eyes fall upon the approaching black dot in the sky, a Hurricane buffets both her and her Gengar as the crow knight beats its wings and summons forth a Hurricane to batter the attacking ship. A diversionary tactic meant to draw attention away from the survivors she had yet to finish off, but they were old news anyways, she didn't care. Her hood is blown back and her hair whips about in the wind, miniscule cuts opening along her exposed face as the Hurricane rips and tears through the air around them, but her focus wavers not an inch as she simply points up to the sky. "Argon, a shower of Thunderbolts if you would be so kind."

The Gengar grins as he raises his hands up and summons his magic, the skies darkening and static building in the air around Artem. And then. CRACKOOM! The boom of thunder accompanies a flash of light as a lightning bolt strikes out at the Corviknight, the fury of god made manifest as Argon tries to knock the pesky bird from the skies in one singular thrust. But assuming it doesn't hit, he would have no issues throwing another, and another as all of his attention is focused solely on Artem.

And with that Xenon's attention turns back to the distance, looking out in Eris's direction as she focuses on the future and the wall she has yet to overcome. "No more games crew. Bring us towards the Avatar, I have business with them." The boat rumbles to life as it starts to approach Eris, Xenon standing on the ship's bow with a Pokeball in hand as she scans for her target. "I can feel you Avatar! Come out now and face your future!"

The damage to her own ship isn't even worth noting as the mischievous ghoul continues his orchestra of thunderbolts and lightning, snapping at the avian foe he had been set upon with malicious glee in every wave of his little hands. It was a distraction of course, but one that Xenon could disregard as she scans the horizon for her foe.

Yet the threat is already so much nearer than she would have expected, a hail of seeds cutting through the ocean from below and peppering her body ruthlessly. Bullet Seed is a much more apt name than most would give it credit for, each propelled piece of plant matter tearing through cloth and flesh like a bullet fired from a gun. She steps back quickly before any of them can pierce a vital spot, but Xenon was definitely hit bad by that attack, this would require a moment of respite on her part.

"Polonium, please take care of the distractions in my way. Manganese, take care of me." A Pokeball on her belt and the one in her hand open in unison, a Toxtricity and Hatterene emerging to take to the field. Polonium lazily stretches and yawns as she steps out onto the deck of the ship where Xenon had just been torn apart, reaching down to her chest with one hand and calmly twanging at her strings. A deep rumble reverberates from her sternum as electricity races through the air, tracing down to the sea and immediately shocking both Kite and her rider as the Shock Wave electrifies the sea around them. A low power move under most circumstances, but one that a Technician like Polonium knew how to use to its absolute best.

Manganese on the other hand remained utterly placid and emotionless as she looked her trainer over with a discerning eye, Xenon mirroring that stillness as she emptied her mind of useless emotions that would only aggravate the Hatterene. The psychic nods approvingly as she reaches a hand out to touch upon Xenon's head, a Healing Pulse resonating within her mind and tricking her body into closing its own wounds.

A child. The one who vexes her so is nothing more than a child. Some might be offended or even angered by such an opponent, but the woman standing in the here and now regards Eris with the same seriousness that she would any battle hardened trainer. With nothing less than her full attention. A thick mist begins to form above the water as the girl's Quagsire whips up the waves, Xenon clicks her tongue with a hint of appreciation as she starts forming a new plan to deal with this.

"Alright, good counter pick on the fly. Let's take you out of the equation." Xenon mumbles as she pushes away from her Hatterene and back onto the deck of the ship, climbing onto the slippery railing and grabbing another Pokeball from her hip. "Manganese, help Argon with the bird. Polonium, if you see anything that isn't me peeking from the water, zap them. Now lets go Indium." The scientist throws her Pokeball up into the air and dives into the ocean after Eris, followed shortly after by a fully grown Malamar splashing into the water and wrapping a tentacle around her waist to keep her firmly anchored and in control.

The waves are just as turbulent below as above, but the visibility at the very least is better as she peers through the salty seawater with narrowed eyes. She smirks as she spots Eris not too far away, gently tapping at the tentacle holding her with a clawed hand and ordering the Malamar closer to the girl to bring the fight to them. As soon as they're within range, a vicious Night Slash whips out through the water from one of the squid's myriad tentacles towards Bernie and her trainer.

And up above Artem's dance through the sky would immediately become twice as difficult as both the Gengar and the Hatterene focus their attacks on him simultaneously. The lightning doesn't let up even a single watt as the Thunderbolts continue to strike at the knightly birds steel wings, but on top of that he would suddenly find himself subject to the most distressing cries coming from Manganese's mouth as she sings her song of sorrow, a Disarming Voice guaranteed to tug at the heartstrings of any with ears to listen. And even if the cold heart of steel could resist a fairy's cries, every second only piled on more and more damage as the two Pokemon work in tandem to bring the knight down to Davy Jones's locker.

The dirge of destiny tolls for the knight of the sky, a tale of lightning and loss mark the Corviknight's defeat as he's struck down from the grand blue and sent spiraling down into the ocean. But his last stroke of the sword pierces deep into the belly of the beast, a fatal blow as a blade of air strikes true at the engine of the Rocket's ship, a chain reaction of failures beginning as the engine erupts into flame and everyone still aboard scrambles to save themselves, lost without the guidance of their erstwhile captain battling the little girl who caused all this. The red light of a Pokeball saves him before he can sink into the briny deep, and likewise Xenon would be withdrawing Manganese and Polonium as she briefly dips her head above the water for a breath of air, but the battle isn't over yet.

The Toxic spray is heavily diluted by the sea water, but all the same that means it only takes the slightest contact with the cloud for the effects to take hold on Indium, light poison already compounding into a deadly attack with no end in sight. Xenon curses in her mind as she withdraws the Malamar and sends out her next pick. A Garchomp wasn't quite suited for the water in the same way that it was the sky, but it could operate underwater for a period which was all she needed for now.

A Chinchou and a Quagsire. Not a lot of weaknesses defensively, but at the same time they would struggle to hurt a Garchomp offensively with the type coverage they represented. Xenon's brain runs at a mile a minute as she throws Terbium into defensive maneuvers, unwilling to let her get poisoned as easily as Indium had. Ultimately they would have to operate on hit and run strategies at this point, at least until they tired the girl out enough that they could make a clean break out of the ocean and to the next Rocket ship in the fleet. Yeah, that would have to be the move.

Xenon's claws tab on the Garchomp's rough hide and the intent is understood, grabbing onto her neck as a thick blue aura begins to coat the dragon they rush forwards and tackle past Bernie and Eris, a Dragon Rush with the intent of barreling straight through their enemy and immediately diving out of range for a close range attack.

The girl is keen, much more so than any of her peers. This was a great point to retreat, an opportunity Xenon was more than happy to take as the Garchomp continues to push forwards past Eris and Bernie, swimming far far away from the girl as she instead focuses her attention on what future lies ahead. But she cannot help but leave a parting gift as the duo pushes forth from the water's surface and into the sky, her Gengar coming out of his pokeball for just one more spiteful blow. A disgusting ball of muck forms in the ghost's paws and shoots down into the sea, splashing into the briny deep just near Eris and Bernie and opening up to reveal...

Sludge. Pure toxic sludge, a ball of raw poison rapidly dissipating in the waters around Eris and threatening to steal her life unless she too is willing to abandon her pursuit. Perhaps it is petty to do this to a child, but in the end its her own fault for stepping into a battlefield such as this. The woman of the future does not discriminate. It is simply how things should be.
