With the last box loaded it was time for Ana to head out. Turning the key, the truck made loud rumble before turning onto the steet.

It was a straight drive to the drop off location, just outside the city. It shouldn't take more than ten minutes to arrive there.

Checking her watch it seemed she would end up being a bit early, but she had no problem with waiting for the pick up crew to arrive.

"Hm?" Looking at her side mirror, there would appear to be a pokèmon following the truck from above. She took a sharp right turn to see if the large bird would stay going forward, but no luck. They continued to trail behind the vehicle.

Was this delivery was leaked? The chances were slim. This shipment was planned last minute, due to rare merchandise making its way into Rocket's possession. Either way, the girl was going to have to handle this one way or another.

"Noivern," she said releasing the pokèmon from the driver side window. "Take care of them."
[break][break]
The dragon flew towards Moss and his Alataria before blocking them with its body.
[break][break]
"Who are you?" Noivern communicated to Moss using her Telepathy ability. "What business do you have following us?"

There was a flash of light from the driver side window. A Noivern flew swiftly up to greet them. Moss pulled back and the Altaria slowed to a stop, though Moss' eyes never left the truck. There was a weird sensation in his head as a voice that wasn't his own echoed -- somehow or another, he recognized that it was the Noivern's. Funnily enough, Moss seemed completely unbothered by this. His reply was instant.
[break][break]"Weezer climbed into the back of your truck! Tell your trainer to pull over and let him out." Moss' heart was racing. Never had he been quite so serious about something. Weezer was literally family to him. His heart couldn't take the idea of someone taking him away from him -- whether accidentally or not. The country bumpkin set his jaw, beads of sweat running down the sides of his face. The Noivern cut an intimidating figure in the night sky, but Moss was determined to get his buddy back, no matter what. Maybe the Noivern would be won over by Doodles' charming appearance...?
[break][break]Meanwhile, Weezer himself stood in the back of the truck trying his hardest to push open the doors. He backed slowly from the door, unaware of the dormant Runerigus behind him. Exhaling briefly, Weezer would take a running start and Aqua Jet into the truck's doors. With a watery crash and a bump that made the back of the vehicle rattle, Weezer left a sizeable dent in the door from the force of the move alone, but could not yet open it. The orange weasel took a moment to recover, and prepared to do the same again.

Noivern paused, unsure how to exactly handle this situation. Was this a lie? The boy didn't speak with the energy of someone who mastered the art of deception, but she couldn't take that risk.

The dragon prepared itself to eliminate the strange pursuer, but was halted by Anahel's mental voice. "Wait." The girl was concerned about bringing more attention to the truck.
[break][break]
They weren't immediately attacking, so it was better get to a more advantageous position before confronting them.

The girl was filled in on the situation, before giving orders to the Noivern.
[break][break]
"Follow us. We'll stop just outside the city," the pokèmon repeated to the boy, before flying off back towards the truck.
[break][break]
It was then when a strong thump was felt from the back of the vehicle. Was it the cargo?
[break][break]
Cursing to herself, Ana processed the dilemma she was in.

She should have enough time to take care of all this before the pick-up crew arrived, but it was going to be tricky.

Follow them outside the city? Why didn't they just pull over now? Moss mulled it over but couldn't come to any specific conclusion. He shook it off. In the end it didn't matter, right? So long as he could get Weezer out of there, he'd do anything. "Fine! Whatever! Let's go, Doodles!" The Altaria picked up speed, soaring over the city, and kept a watchful eye on the truck alongside Moss.

[break][break]In the truck, Weezer was still slamming away. Periodically, the truck would bump and rattle and Weezer would feel less and less energized. His pace slowed, and he would not be able to break out of the doors before the truck slowed to a stop outside of city limits. The Buizel was still determined to escape -- the inside of the back of the truck, it seemed, was not as interesting as the Pokemon had initially found it.

[break][break]After some time trailing the truck from above, they'd stop at the designated meeting place. Moss would land and hop off Doodles' back but still stand beside her. The fluffy bird did its best to look tough, and didn't take its eyes off the suspicious Noivern. Moss crossed his arms and glared, fully prepared to give whatever fat, smelly truck driver hopped out of the driver's seat an earful about paying attention.

The thrashing in the back of the truck became more and more frequent. Was that man flying above really telling the truth? Was his pokèmon really trapped in there? If so... this was going to be a problem. Anahel needed to handle this swiftly.[break][break]
Reaching the destination, the girl pulled up the face mask hidden under her collar to her nose. It was in her best interest to hide her appearance now that she was in school. Even if she planned solve this with no witnesses, it was better to be safe.[BREAK][BREAK]
The girl jumped out of the truck and got her first good look at the upset man. Why did he look so familiar? She pondered on it for a moment, but decided it wasn't worth the time.[break][break]
"Hey, so I think I heard your friend in the back of my truck." She said in sincere tone. "I'll go ahead and let him out, but you see..." She paused for a few seconds, piecing together her words carefully.[break][break]
Wait... Anahel realized why he was so familiar. It was the fool from the Icelands.[break][break]
Thinking back on it, that boy didn't seem to be the brightest. She should use this to her advantage...[break][break]
"What I am delivery is a top secret product. On the cutting edge of technology. My boss would kill me if any of our competitors discovered what we have been working on. Do you mind turning around why I grab your friend? I'd really appreciate it."

The driver hopped out and it wasn’t a stinky, fat old man but a petite woman. Moss squinted. Didn’t she seem sort of familiar…? [break][break]

Moss shook it off. It didn’t matter right now, anyway. All that mattered was getting Weezer out of the truck. She seemed sincere enough and as she hesitated the frustration on Moss’ face grew. Cutting edge of technology? “Tsk! I don’t give a hoot or a holler ‘bout no stinkin’ computers or cellphones or whatever it is you’re tryin’ to hide.” [break][break]

And he spun around with his back to the truck anyway. “But fine! Just hurry up and get ‘im out so we can get goin’.” [Break][break]

Although Moss was trusting (or just dumb) enough to turn his back so easily, Doodles wasn’t Moss. The Altaria kept a close watch on Anahel, standing protectively beside her trainer. The fluffy bird even puffed out her chest to appear more intimidating -- though more than likely to no such effect.

"Thank you," Anahel said as she looked to Moss's dragon.[break][break]
This guy was gullible enough to handle, but that pokèmon of his seemed to be wary of the girl's words. This was going to be a problem.[break][break]
"Take care of the Altaria," she mentally commanded to the Noivern, who had been circling the air since they arrived.[break][break]
Ana's pokèmon swooped in from above, diving into the back side of the enemy flying type. It was at this moment, the girl drew her gun and attempted to pull the trigger into the back of Moss's head.

Doodles was on the lookout for such trickery -- as the Noivern dove for her and Anahel drew a gun, the Altaria screeched and spread its wings wide, a silvery sheen flashing its fluff as she was reinforced by Cotton Guard. Though the Noivern tore into her backside, the Doodles’ wings would catch the bullet meant for the back of Moss’ head. The bullet sparked against the now steel-like cotton and ricocheted into the darkness. She’d bat at the enemy with her wings, but wouldn’t budge, not wanting to give Anahel a clean shot at her trainer.

[break][break]Moss would have spun around, shocked that he was being shot at -- and even more surprised that it was the girl who held the smoking pistol. Doodles had to take a shot for him, and that royally pissed him off. He ripped a pokeball from his pocket and slammed it against the floor. “Get that gun for me!” Lofi the Rotom burst from the ball with a grin and wasted no time using Trick. Anahel would find the gun removed from her grasp and find its place hovering in front of Moss and the Rotom. The former would snatch it angrily from the air. “You’re crazy, lady!”

[break][break]Alarmed by the sound of the gunshot and the screech of Doodles and Moss’ voice, Weezer would begin slamming into the back of the door with a renewed vigor. Visible dents began to appear in the truck’s doors. It wouldn’t be long now before he broke out. Moss looked at the gun and looked at Anahel and didn’t know what to do with it so he turned and dropped it and soccer-kicked it into the darkness where it eventually hit the ground and fired a round from the impact. Moss flinched but returned his attention to the problem at hand.

Noivern followed through with their tackle, pushing the Altaria onto the ground. Standing on top of the bird, the purple pokèmon charged up a Dragon Pulse and fired it point blank at their blue counterpart.[break][break]
Anahel had her gun stolen by the enemy Rotom.[break][break] Jumping back, she threw a pokèball down releasing Gardevoir.[break][break]
"Gard–" The girl's command was interrupted by the boy's attempt of disposing the gun. He kicked it away, causing it to fire off into the darkness. Anahel watched him flinch, as a Pacharisu fell out of a nearby tree.[break][break]
...[break][break]
All tension was evaporated by the bumpkins antics.[break][break]
"You..." She struggled to find the words that would properly convey how much of an idiot he was.[break][break]
Retuning to the situation at hand, Anahel shouted. "Gardevoir!"[break][break]
The psychic jumped forward releasing Moon Blast at the Rotom. Anahel, drawing her knife, lunged for Moss. Swiping the blade at his throat.[break][break]
The banging in the truck reached its climax. The previously sleeping Runerigus collected itself and menacingly stood behind the Buizel. They were visibly upset their nap was interrupted.

Moss just stared.

[break][break]Meanwhile, the Noivern had tackled Doodles and fired a point-blank Dragon Pulse. Batting its wings defiantly, the Altaria was definitely injured -- but was able to hang on, albeit it barely, and fire her own Dragon Pulse in response.

[break][break]Recovering from Moss’ blatant display of his profound lack of critical thinking, Anahel’s Gardevoir was sent out to assault Moss’ mischievous ghost type. Aware of the attack coming his way, the Rotom’s form flickered and expanded into several illusory copies of itself, each grinning and snickering a sound like static. The Moonblast would completely evaporate one of the few copies of Lofi’s Double Team.

[break][break]And Anahel was coming at him with a knife. “Eep!” Moss let out a noise not unlike the shot Pachirisu as he backpedaled and panicked. “Woah, woah, woah-!!” He’d lift his hand in protest, protecting his throat, and the knife would leave a bloody slash across the palm of his hand. But he was aware of the skirmish happening behind them, and Moss was panicking. He dug out a pokeball as he ran, but before he could even use it, a deafening crash was heard even above the sounds of the conflict. Finally escaping, Moss’ Buizel launched out of the back of the truck engulfed in a watery aura.

[break][break]”Weezer!” Moss’ joy to see his friend was enough to let Anahel cut him again if she tried to, but what emerged from behind the little Buizel caused even Moss’ expression to drop. A very angry looking pokemon made up of ghostly rubble set its haunting gaze on all assembled. Moss would leap to the side and take advantage of that brief moment to return Altaria to her pokeball, hopefully saving her from any further damage. Weezer would rush to Moss, and Lofi (and his two illusory clones) would hover and dance in the air around them.

[break][break]Moss watched for what happened next before he took his next action.
