“Huh,” he hummed from his position up in the tree. Where was the lie?

Although, he couldn’t help but remember Kaida Adachi and her Yanmega from the time they all fought for their lives at Littleroot during the Meteno Incident where the entire region was almost wiped off the map… out of existence, even.

Alas, the Yanmega was not the one he was looking for; and so he decided to wait for another to appear.

The next thing that came by almost made him laugh—what in the hell was that?! It reminded him of the golf club in one of those animated films he’d seen before…

That was, until his PokéGear started alerting him that the one that had approached (the golf club) was one of the new birds that he didn’t have…

Rather than jumping down on it and surprising the poor thing, he decided to throw down his Hawlucha—the Fighting/Flying-type suddenly leaping out of the trees with a Flying Press and attempting to catch the pink bird by surprise!

…of course he would be foiled by a Copycat move; which mirrored the incoming move and caused both avians to smack into each other.

“Oy,” he hissed, watching the tussle from up in the tree; while the Hawlucha switched gears and countered with a Low Kick while the strange one countered with a Pecking gesture.

Obviously the other avian was not amused, and the two exchanged blows before a final Drain Punch sent the pink bird flat to the ground.

Sooner or later, a Pokéball came dropping down from the tree, aimed towards the Flamigo.
