Xiura wandered along the path leading through the grasses of Route 101, her Cherubi faithfully following behind her. "Stay close, Ruby," she said. She wanted her Pokemon to grow stronger, but was also worried that the wild Pokemon around would mistake her for a piece of fruit.

She saw a pond nearby and ambled towards it, picking up Cherubi so she wouldn't lose her in the tall grasses. Perhaps some Pokemon would be resting around the source of drinking water.

Xiura and Cherubi spotted a Treecko splashing around in the pond's shallows, drinking some of the water but mostly playing around.

"Cherubi, use Sleep Powder!" Xiura instructed, setting Cherubi down on the ground. Cherubi danced around a little before spinning in place and releasing a glittering pink powder into the air. The powder settled across the Treecko's head and shoulders. It sneezed, before falling asleep, floating in the water and snoring lightly.

Xiura patted Cherubi. "Great job!" She threw the Pokeball.
