"What was it that one fortune teller said? Reawakening old ones or something?" The words spilled from his mouth to no one as he thought aloud while he was exploring the safari zone one more time. Kazimir wasn't a guy who thought of the past too much, instead he wanted to live in the moment. In the now.

Sometimes he thought about the future.

But that was usually reserved for thinking about either what to do with this little life of his or what he was going to have for breakfast the next morning. Maybe he'll get lucky and find a clue out here, the safari zone did always carry lots of wonder in its changing selection.

A lumbering hulk of stone was approaching rather quickly and Kaz hid behind some rocks as he watched it make its way down the road. He watched the thing from behind and he hand to wonder how it even stood up correctly. Pokemon sure were weird at times. Like that thing seemed to be really flat and could tip over at the lightest punch.

The urge to punch it was building just to see if such a thing was true. But he decided it wasn't worth it and took off, maybe something else in here would catch his fists around here.

So a Baltoy? Well it was no walking Stonehedge Pokemon but it was still charming in its own cute kind of way. The way it just spins around in place was almost mesmerizing. If he wasn't going to find a place for it on his team he was sure it would make a nice gift for someone who'd appreciate it a lot more than he could. So taking a rock he toss it at the little spinning Pokemon and watched as it bonked against its head...then it fell over.

And it stopped moving.

"Uh..." Kaz looked around to see if anyone was around to watch him as he threw a Pokeball at it to capture it and sneak away before any prying eyes could see him.

"Well ain't you funky looking. Kinda cool really." Pokemon like these weren't really his style but he could appreciate the oddity behind them. Seeing the strange winged beast pick at the pile of treats he left out as a lure really was something. As he twirled the ball in his hand he took a moment to consider if he should catch it or not. He doubt the thing would see a lot of action so it felt like both a waste and an insult to it if he did take it with him.

On the other hand someone was bound to find some use for it if he went around offering it. People were always up for a good trade and Wintertide was coming up. Maybe it could make for a fun gift exchange gift. So he tossed the ball at the bird-actually could this thing even be considered a bird?

Now a Larvesta? That was more his speed. Sure bug types were not something that he himself really fancied but he also didn't hate them. So when it came to the little larvae he had to admit that it held a soft spot in his heart. Something about its little fluff around it was just so inviting. Plus its evolution was no slouch and he wouldn't might carrying around a pair of those as they had their own charm to them as their dances just managed to catch his heart.

Ok maybe he was a bit of a fan of bug types. Not a big one mind you.

As it sprinted away from him after catching him staring at it Kaz chased after it like a Boltund chases a Joltik. With immense speed that even might be impressed. "You ain't getting away just yet!" he yelled as his scarlet hair blew in the wind as he took out a ball and tossed it.

Amid the smell of pine its the smell of water that draws him to a small pond in the middle of the forested region of the park. While the water is a nice blue its hard to see just what lies under the surface, yet he can feel it in his gut that something lies underneath. Reaching into his pocket he takes out a few snacks and throws them out into the water. A few of them float and bob about on the calm surface of the pond when a shadow appears underneath them.

That's when he draws out a ball and waits as one of the treats disappears. Then another, and finally the third one manages to draw out what lurks below. A relicanth jumps out to eat the last treat and as soon as it breaks the surface Kaz is quick to toss a ball towards it watching it disappear into its light as the treat falls back into the water and sinks to the bottom of the deep it finds itself in.
