Thomas, dressed in heavy winter gear, wandered the Silent Icelands quietly. Though most of the Region had been overtaken by an unnatural winter, this area in particular had never lost its "charm."

Thomas looked above, at a branch. The perfect place for mistletoe, if someone found such a depressing location to be romantic.

Mordred, the Ceruledge, trailed behind his master. While the Kalosian mused in silence, the black knight kept vigilant.

Rather than being faced by something like a Yuki-Onna of a Froslass, instead an innocent little Cetoddle waddled from the snow. The young whale seemed to be more intent on playing, rather than fighting. The spherical cutie looked at Thomas for a moment, studying the human, before leaving to resume her play.

Content with letting her play, Thomas pressed onward.

Milk and cookies would definitely not be enough to satisfy this beast.

An Ice Shard flies towards Thomas. Mordred, acting quickly, stepped in front of the Ice Shard, taking it with an ethereal grunt. The perpetrator, a furious Baxcalibur, charged the Ceruledge with an Aqua Tail. The Ceruledge dodged the attack with a deft leap to the back, before retaliating with a slash of his Bitter Blades.

Thomas watched the exchange. He'd take notice to the Baxcalibur's reaction to the attack. It seemed the heat of the Bitter Blades didn't empower her, indicating that this one didn't have Thermal Exchange.

The icy dragon roared in rage, Focusing her Energy for what was to come. Before she could get the chance to capitalize off of the technique, the Ceruledge rushed the dragon, hacking and slashing at the beast in merciless Close Combat.

Thomas quickly tossed a Pokeball at the injured Baxcalibur, before either combatant could severely injure the other.
