THE PROTECT FADES, leaving the GLALIE vulnerable to the HYDRO PUMP that comes after. one lands. and then another. each one pushing the pokemon back with a concussive blast. but after each attack settles, the pokemon remains upright. unfazed as a triumphant light envelopes it.

“mega shinka!”

the GLALIE’s jaw unlocks, splitting from its main body as it grows in size. raw ice crawls across its body before it finally shakes free, shivering from its own energy output. with a heavy exhale, the pokemon blows a deep seated FREEZE DRY, looking to counter any water attack thrown its way.

unsure if FERNANDO SILPH has seen his wallpaper, he continues holding his phone out, feeling the strain in his one shoulder as he doesn't really include shoulder workouts in his routine.[break][break]

with the glalie MEGA EVOLVED, it dwarfs froakie, making it seem far smaller than it actually is as it attempts to avoid the chilly FREEZE DRY.[break][break]

its muscles start to tense up, slowing down which forces it to switch tactics, going for a LICK instead.[break][break]

which bids well for him. for the FREEZE DRY allows a momentary opening for the GLALIE to shrink forward. with a bob, it lunges to CRUNCH the FROAKIE’s exposed tongue.
