"As I live and breath!" Doug said as he spread out his arms, wide and theatrical, across from the stadium in greeting of his opponent. "If it ain't Kazimir Wynter himself!"

Now there was a trainer he knew, and a good one at that. Besides him, Kama audibly popped her neck as she marched into the battlefield, fully expecting a hard match.

"There ain't no need to waste time 'tween gentlemen, yeah?" Doug said with a grin. "We can catch up after the fight's over. Have at it!"

"And is that Doctor D?!" The enthusiasm is shared by the giant as Domon the Urshifu makes his way to the field ready for more battle. Even after their recent fight they were still ready for more and Kaz was ready to reap some sweet vitals, even if it meant taking down a good fugger.

"Gentlemen? Please Duggie, you know I don't do that. We like to really tussle out here. But i'll be a good gentlemen and let ya have the first move!"

"Thank you kindly for the courtesy, good sire! I'll try not to waste it!" He said, bowing politely before sweeping his arm dramatically. "Kama! Start us off grandly!"

Somewhat weirded out by the two men's antics, the Scyther gave her opponent a helpless shrug before launching forward into an offensive, her scythes skirting over the soil as she narrowed the distance between them before suddenly accelerating out of sight, the soil seemingly tearing apart on its own as she blurred along her opponent's side while taking a quick swing—

TL;DR:

"Domon! Don't let them get one up on ya!" It would be tricky to do with the way that Scyther moved. Doug sure did love his bugs and he was skilled with using them. If there was ever a bug legendary out there he was sure the man would tame it in a second. Still that was his forte, theirs were much broader.

Fending off the Scyther's attacks with his own fists the Urshifu could feel the sting of the blades against his fur and gritted his teeth. With a growl he balled a fist up and pulled it away before unleashing a wicked blow to the bug's abdomen even as the strike started to cut into his skin a little bit.

Things could've started off better for them, but if they had, it would've honestly thrown them off, given their luck.

Or lackthereoff.

"You good?!" He asked Kama with his hands cupped around his mouth as she bounced across the ground several times before crashing into the arena's wall and flopping facedown to the floor.

A groan came in response, before Kama leapt back to her feet. She wobbled briefly, glancing down at her abdomen— which sported cracked chitin all over and looked like it would fall apart any moment now.

Well shit.

Keep away it is.

Her scythes blurred, launching walls of wind towards the martial arts bear while she tried to think of how to turn this around.

Wind cut at his fur even as the Urshifu detected them and even side stepping a few didn't protect him fully. Still it did keep him pretty safe from the most damage he could receive. Now all he had to do was fight. Fight until he won this fight. Even if winning wasn't the point of this whole tournament that didn't matter to the Urshifu.

Such concepts did not matter to a warrior with a burning desire to conquer and prove his strength. So the Urshifu let out a roar inviting his opponent to come right at him again with all of their might. He was still waiting for more.

Oh hell naw, Kama was getting cooked out there!

He had to do something stat! So, thinking quickly, Doug decided on the only way to extend the battle's length for sure—

"Let's go big, Kama!" He boomed, raising his pokeball to the Scyther.

A massive Kama landed back onto the battlefield, harrumphing imperiously before sweeping her armor across the battlefield, attempting to send Domon flying right off the arena.

TL;DR:
-Kama used Fury Cutter!

"Uh oh." It seemed Dynamax was the new shiny thing to play around with on the town and he couldn't say it wasn't impressive. Galar was his home and those kind of battles always did hype him up. Seeing up close and personal like this didn't change the fact that it was an intimidating sight. Yet they couldn't give up just yet, if they were going to hit them with a large Pokemon then they would just do the next best thing, hit them with a large attack.

"Let's go Domon! Power through them! All! Out! PUmmeling!" As he struck a pose a golden aura surrounded Kaz before flowing into his Urshifu who with a single punch met the fury cutter head on. Then another punch, and another, and finally more came in the form of fists made of pure fighting spirit that launched themselves right into Kama's face.

Domon was already a terrifying powerhouse— with the power of Z-moves, Kama's prospects for the battle looked even worse.

But she wasn't a tiny bug anymore— she was a titan. Her scythes came up and she hunkered down, taking the rain of blows with nary but pained grunts that boomed like thunder in the distance.

And when the power of the Z-move dissipated... she countered back, her eyes shining brightly as she delivered a devastating jab towards Domon and the arena below!

The ground shook beneath their feet sending both Kaz and Domon tumbling onto their hands and knees as the large bug struck the ground with force. Dynamax Pokemon sure were something else, even simple movements of theirs were powerful enough to shake the earth. Just meant that they would have to throw everything they had at them and then some. "Let's get in there Domon! Aerial Ace!"

The bear grunted and charged at the Scyther once more. Once he was close enough he bent down and jumped at Kamas with as much strength as his legs could muster and aimed a chop right at the bug's chest. It might leave him more vulnerable to it but sometimes a risk was needed to ensure victory was in their cards.

The chop landed, denting her natural chitin in a manner that looked less than pleasant. But Kama did not make a move to retreat this time, gnashing her teeth before planting her feet unto the ground firmly, seemingly burying herself into the soil...

Before swinging her scythes down like hammers unto the arena, the booming shockwave rocking the place as destruction spread all around.

Once more the ground shook and this time the shockwave that came with it was able to send the bear flying onto his back and send Kaz to his hands and knees. Sure enough Dynamax was looking to be a problem for the both of them right now. "C'mon! We still got some fight left, we're not done till we topple that behemoth!"

Words spured on the bear as it lifted its legs and springboarded itself back onto its feet and into a sprint. Its eyes never left the giant's form as it clenched its fist once more and jumped. A wicked blow was coming its way and with the bug being so big it was child's play to aim it right at Kamas' solar plexus. Perhaps knocking some wind out of their sails was the trick to beating Dynamax.

Kama's giant form shuddered under the blow.

But she did not fall, though.

Her foot came down onto the ground firmly, the earth cracking beneath her weight as she raised a scythe high in the air before bringing it down unto the arena with a roar.

"That trick...ain't gonna work a third time! Let's go Domon!" Fiery spirit was set ablaze by both of them as they let out a war cry as the large scythe came down. Urshifu stared it down as it came down on him, a large limb that could easily squish him or in this case cut him in half. He needed to find a way around it, to counter it, or...maybe...

Raising his hands up he waited, waited as the world around him started to slow down as he focused his mind. He needed the right moment, to detect when it was the best second to strike back. As the shadow of the scythe finally enveloped him he roared and clapped his hands over the scythe to try and stop its advance, like a samurai stopping a blade with their bare hands.
