Obviously her life was geared around pokemon and becoming the best trainer, but unfortunately, it doesn't come all that naturally to Harley. She understands most of the type match ups, but can she remember them in the moment? Absolutely not! Harley has always been an optimistic person though, determined to make her way. However the pressure she felt from not only her prestigious parents, but also her brother who became a champion in near record time, really wasn't helping her. [break][break] She couldn't even make it all the way through the Kanto League. [break][break] Knocked down a peg or two, Harley packed up everything she had and left to try again elsewhere. The news always seemed to be talking about Hoenn, so she didn't even think twice. Maybe she won't beat all the gym leaders or elite four (not that she won't give it one hell of a go), but maybe she can give her parents a different reason to be proud? It already feels better to be out from under her family's scrutinizing gaze, she feels like she can do anything!
