Shrugging it off, Seb decided to let Alpha start the battle. As he had with literally every battle he had been in (except one), Alpha set up with a Tailwind to get a nice speed boost for the later battle.

The LICK is very powerful and enough to make the Talonflame cringe just from the raw, amorphous energy it holds. But Alpha does his best to hang on even with the gross slime of the lick dripping from his feathers....[break][break]
