It's an answer to the question, the little yellow scarfed fox can only respond in her tongue. If only she could give her advice, to tell her what was truths or lies, she could help Estelle through this madness. But Duncan is a keeper of secrets, a teller of truths, a dispensary of lies, all bundled in the title of Duke.[break][break] Because he has to be.[break][break] Duncan finally has pants on. In seclusion, within their joint restroom, he stares into the mirror, eyes both revealed, obscured by the light. Left hand reaches his face, and pulls down, a stare into the mirror. His hand lands comfortably to his chest, and he closes his eyes. He tries to smile.[break][break] "Crooked," he chuckles quietly to himself, running a hand through his silvery locks, each finger untwisting lock after lock, pushed upwards. His mind sits occupied for the first time in awhile, and no matter how much he shows the smile he always uses, it always seems uselessly crooked.[break][break] 'Heh. So much power, but neither of us-'[break][break] A knock comes to the door. Her voice had come through, but he hadn't heard it the first time. Yet, when she speaks again, dispensing that their meal was done, and voicing concern. From the pitter patter, it seemed that Pepper had also mewed and pawed to the door. Her concern?[break][break] He turns to the mirror once more, and smiles. 'Again?' Warmth.[break][break] "Coming, Stella." he pulls a shirt on, tighter on his body, as he opens the door, facing now Estelle. His eyes both shown to her now, long silver hair now in a ponytail. A fuller smile on his lips. "I appreciate your concern." @estelle[break][break] NOTES- OUTFIT[break] - Pepper can't answer, for she is fox. But she wants to help! She moves with Estelle and scratches at the bathroom door after food arrives.[break] - Duncan is off his game. His smiles feel more crooked.[break] - Comes out of the bathroom, a smiles on his face, both eyes showing to Estelle. His smile seems wider, fuller? He feels warmer.
