duo wild: water / psychic / dragon

he outstretches his hand to celia, helping her scale the last of the heights until they reach the pinnacle of meteor falls — the falls themselves, impressive rock faces and majestic cliff-sides stretching in all directions before them. a cold breath expels into the air, anticipation and excitement alight as flickers of warmth in his eyes. [break][break]

the view is breathtaking, but the person beside him, all the more so. "we made it." and floating beside him is chantilly, the frosmoth ever the patient and careful companion. she gently nudges both cain and celia, glossy wings brushing past their flushed faces and their clad shoulders. she drifts as a frozen star, diamond dust glittering in her wake. cain takes a moment to catch his breath, then gently peers down at celia, sea-green gaze glimmering with concern. "how are we doing, love?" he'd been excited to come here on the basis of dragon-type pokemon roaming the area, but the trek was more challenging than he originally anticipated. he probably should worry about himself more, considering how flushed his own face is and how his lungs feel like they're on fire, but... he curls a strand of her pink hair behind her ear, smiling delicately. it doesn't matter where they go as long as they're together!
