looking from afar, it well could be just another construction site. the rubble of destroyed buildings has been moved but the dust still thickly coats the ground. dominic shifts uncomfortably in place and tries to remember what it looked like before the reconstruction attempts started in earnest. almost subconsciously, his hand drops to the capsules at his belt - pilfered from the league during the chaos. were the original trainers still alive, maybe he'd return them if he could. he bites back the impulse because he won't allow the thought to sow itself. dominic quickens his pace. wild |
