The self-proclaimed brains of the two woman team of thievery, the “Dirty Pair”.

Leilani grew up in the Alola region as a troubled youth in a poor household. The girl’s always had a nose for trouble that’s led her into heaps of trouble.

Then that one fateful day, a girl washed up ashore on the beach during an evening walk. Leilani ran for help and they were able to save her, though she was without any memory or knowledge of anything that had happened. Since meeting Mahina, Lei’s never felt better. They left Alola to seek a brighter future away from home and ended up in the Hoenn port. Old habits die hard, and pretty soon they were stealing goods from some shady man and ready to hawk it for the best resort package ever!

Except as it turned out, they had kinda stolen confidential Rocket intel. The kind that people are killed over. Oops!

Anyway, Leilani’s a (self proclaimed anyway!) criminal mastermind that’s hit Hoenn and has a love for all things mischief. Since her first mission with Rocket, her toolkit’s only gotten better at getting what she wants, though does want to use her skills for something more thought provoking.

WHAT CAN BE LOOKED UP

⋗ Leilani was born in Konikoni City, Alola to a poor family. She relied on a neighborhood to raise her due to absent parents.

⋗ Attended primary school and fully graduated with high marks. Her school record is a laundry list of various marks against her: insubordination, petty theft, cheating, instigating and participating in fights on school grounds, defacing school property, illegal Pokemon fight gambling, and more!

⋗ Many newspaper clippings and news reports were made of some of their recent heists, as unimpressive as they were. Things start small, maybe a massive gacha machine here and a loose flag there. But things start escalating as the thefts string along into valuables such as ATMs, limited edition merch and even high end jewelry!

⋗ There's a string of unresolved thefts across Alola's islands that have been largely unresolved to this day. What little evidence and facts that are to work with make it hard to pull any concrete leads. The recent thefts and crimes located along Hoenn's coasts may have something to do with her handiwork, although it would be hard to link them back to her.

⋗ Leilani and Mahina Kalawai'a were both caught stealing classified documents relating to plans revolving around Rocket's eventual takeover of Hoenn. While admittedly not aware of what they stole, both women are currently placed in Rocket employment and under watch to ensure their "cooperation".

⋗ She's been rather active since being under Rocket guidance and has actively volunteered to go on missions. Her loyalty to the cause is notable as of late but she's always got a certain twinkle in her eyes. As if she's scheming something...
