After his fated encounter with the enigmatic howard slayte, Kirby scurries off to in search of a way back home. His travels take him to the start of many trainer's story, Littleroot Town. On the outskirts, he sees the settlement off in the distance. Excited at the sign of civilization, his face brightens up and his feet dash forward in a hurry.

Yet all is not safe along the route, various Pokemon looking to make Kirby a snack eye the star warrior from the bushes. Just what will he find along the way? Hopefully Shiv, Spiral, or Crow spawn something not too difficult for the hungry puff ball.

A... Digimon? While this thing is completely unknown to Kirby, the users reading this know it quite well. Pink and round... it might just be copying Kirby himself! However, his first step as always is to greet his new friend. With a pat on its head, he exclaims "Poyo" aloud. Maybe they'll be fated to meet again in a different time. A different place.

Closer and closer does he get towards the town. But deep in his mind, he feels himself straying further from home. Any longer and who knows what might happen to the land he was supposed to protect. Should King Dedede somehow conquer all of Planet Pop Star, he would be nigh unstoppable. Only Crow, Shiv or Spiral knew what was in store for Kirby during this journey.
