The steps into the canyon-like area was rough and rugged, jagged stones all over the place that made any kind of road or travel hard to do. Zachary pressed on with his sneakers, but Dizzy was more ginger with his steps as they navigated the rough terrain. As they walked, soon something jumped out,a seeming odd rock with a small glyph on it. [break][break] Both Zachary and Dizzy looked at the rock, puzzled. "Did that rock just move on its own?" Zachary asked Dizzy. [break][break] It was then the stone jumped and out appeared the ghostly body of a rather grumpy Yamask! But it wasn't the one that Zachary was more familiar with. An alternate region's form of it, with new traits. Zachary was startled but also excited. He took out one of the Safari Balls. "Dizzy! Let's give it a shot!" Zachary encouraged. [break][break] The Fox gave an excited cheer. [break][break] Despite being at a disadvantage, Dizzy was still willing to take on the ghostly foe. He was stronger, and faster. Dizzy was quick to attack first, and soon spat out a Flamethrower attack, washing over the stone of the ghost pokemon. [break][break] The Yamask soon retaliated, preparing a shadow ball and threw it at Dizzy. [break][break] "Dizzy-- dodge with Psychic!" Zachary shouted. [break][break] In that moment, Dizzy's eyes and body glowed. With a swift shot up, Dizzy took flight with psychic power. With an impressive leap, the shadowball passed below him. The fox flipped in the air, and soon used Psychic, taking some rocks and threw them at the Yamask! [break][break] The resulting impact pummeled the ghost, confusing it. [break][break] With the golden opportunity, Zachary threw the Safari ball at Yamask, attempting to catch it with its weakened state. [break][break] The ball hit it in the stone body, to which, the whole form of the little thing vanished into light and disappeared into the ball. The battle wabbled as it closed, the thing still putting up a fight. However, after a few seconds, the ball stopped wobbling, and the light on it dimmed away. [break][break] Dizzy landed back to the ground, its psychic aura vanishing as Zachary picked up the ball. He looked satisfied, finding a rare and powerful Ghost Type, something he didn't have many of. [break][break] "Nice work, Diz!" Zachary said, appreciative. The fox gave a gleeful smile, branishing his stick proudly. [break][break] However, they didn't know they were being spied on from nearby in the stray trees nearby. [break][break]

After securing the Yamask, Dizzy and Zachary were about to head on-- till the ruffle from the trees distracted them. Something was up there. Dizzy's ears perked up, curious. he approached the tree, hoping to spot something. Zachary stopped, seeing his partner drawn to the tree. "Dizzy? Everything okay?" he asked. He looked to the tree. [break][break] As they were distracted-- the real cause soon appeared from the rocks nearby. A sneaky-looking, canine stuck out. Orange with a black 'mask' around the eyes, like a classic bandit. The fox's face saw the other fox-- and sneered, falling for its diversion. [break][break] In that moment, the Nickit struck! [break][break] With a swift pounce, it knocked into Dizzy, with an odd hit-and-run tactic. [break][break] Dizzy gave a bark as he was knocked flat to the ground, startling Zachary. By the time Zachary turned, he saw the Nickit. "What the-- Hey! " Zachary explained, seeing his poor Delphox knocked down. [break][break] Zachary rushed to help Dizzy get up, and as the two got up-- that's when they saw it. The tricky fox now had a stick in his maw... Dizzy's stick. Dizzy looked on his person to find his stick was gone-- that the other fox took his stick. AGAIN! [break][break] Dizzy growled and the air around him grew hotter. [break][break] "Uh oh..." Zachary said, taking a step back from his quickly angered partner. Nothing flipped Dizzy off more than when someone takes his stick. [break][break] Dizzy let out a loud Flamethrower attempting to hit the fox. However, the Nitkit was swift as it easily dashed out of the Flamethrower's reach. He quickly then ran to the other end of the small gorge, shaking its tail in their direction. [break][break] "KRRRRRR--AAAAHHRGH!!" Dizzy howled and quickly gave chase to the thief. Either for the fact he was a fox too, or that someone stole his stick again-- Dizzy didn't hesitate to blindly run after the thief. [break][break] "Dizzy, no! Come back! Haven't you learned your lesson from the last time?!" Zachary cried, but the fiery fox paid no mind as he ran off after the pokemon. [break][break] This was becoming a running gag as Zachary was alone now, his partner having left him in the dust in the face of the fox's anger. [break][break]"Guess not..." he sighed, and slowly walked to follow the trail of the two foxes. [break][break]

With Dizzy running off, there was a small path of chaos in its wake. The two foxes had made a trail from burnt patches of earth, disturbed flora-- and most of all, a small little Mimikyu who had been knocked down and its 'fake mask' bent from the encounter. It was not happy as Zachary helped it up before quickly trying to follow the trail. [break][break] After running a bit out of the canyon, Zachary huffed, exhausted and put his hands on his knees. "I'm not gonna get anywhere like this..." Zachary said as he soon took out one of his Pokeballs, finding one with a "V" on it meaning the Heirophant. He knew exactly who was on it. "Prophet!" Zachary cried, tossing the Pokeball up into the air! The ball snapped open, revealing none other than his Xatu levitating in the air with its open wings. [break][break] Prophet hovered in the air, soon turning to face Zachary. "Prophet!" Zachary called out to him, "Dizzy has run off again! Think you can spot him from the air, please?" [break][break] The wise bird gave a soft coo of confirmation, and began to fly through the air to find the Delphox. Zachary followed after his bird Pokemon, knowing while Prophet was indeed an odd ball of a bird, he was dependable in the end. [break][break]

Zachary followed the Xatu's path, reaching a small grove of trees that stook out from the makeshift cliffs, showing Dizzy angrily glaring up in the tree. He was barking up into the bowes of the tree. Zachary got closer, and soon saw the Nickit up there. The Fox wagged its tail as it knelt in the branches of the tree, filled with acorns of somesort. Dizzy's stick was in its maw as Dizzy demanded it to give it back. [break][break] Sadly, the best the Nickit did was lower the stick, just to make a mocking face to Dizzy. [break][break] Dizzy grew angrier as flames started to burn off his body. THough without a stick, he soon began to roar and produce small "flamethrowers'. [break][break] "Dizzy, calm down!" Zachary urged, trying to stop his pokemon, "If you use Flamethrower recklessly you will burn the preserve!" Zachary warned, not wanting to see the Safari Zone burn and the pokemon habitats totaled. [break][break] Dizzy didn't use fire, but he didn't have any real methods to stop the Nickit-- being it was a Dark Type. No psychic power could hurt him. So Nickit used his advantage and did something rather hanis. From his perch, he began to paw and kick down the hanging nuts from the tree. He pelted Dizzy with the projectiles, all the while snickering as he held on to his stick. [break][break] Dizzy braced himself with his paws, getting angry. [break][break] Finally Nickit kicked a rather large "acorn' of sorts, which soon came flying-- only to reveal it had a 'face'. [break][break] Dizzy gasped as he saw the falling Pokemon, crying out from being kicked. Dizzy caught the Seedot[break][break] ONly for Nitkit to use that chance. With stick in his maw, the fox pounced on Dizzy's head and sprinted in another direction, causing Dizzy to tumble and the Seedot to go flying in the air with a cry. [break][break] Zachary saw the wailing Seedot in the air and moved to follow it. "I got it-- I got it!" Zachary said and reached up. Like catching a volleyball, Zachary jumped and caught the Acorn-shaped Pokemon, not even aware it WAS a pokemon. [break][break] He soon held it, and soon looked down-- to see the blinking, surprised face of the Seedot looking back at him. [break][break] All the while Dizzy ran off again, in hot persuit to the thief who took his stick and pride. [break][break] Zachary still remained as he held the now rattled Seedot, startled from being kicked out of its tree so rudely. [break][break] "Hey, hey, it's okay... you're safe now. " Zachary cooed, calming down the shaking Seedot. [break][break] Slowly, the Seedot stopped and looked up at Zachary, a seemingly neutral face almost like trying to look at Xatu. However, it soon seemed appreciative and gave a small chirp of gratitude. [break][break] Having been saved, Zachary held on to Seedot as they went to try and follow the foxtrail-- and hopefully see what Dizzy was going to do next to corner Nickit. [break][break]

Prophet from above had a bird's eye view of Dizzy and how he moved through the rocky terrain. He was the guiding compass for Zachary down below as Zachary followed closely to keep up and follow the fiery fox and his thieving cousin. All the while, he held Seedot in his arms, keeping the little grass-type safe. It seemed oddly content in Zachary's arms for a wild Pokemon, probably grateful it was keeping him safe after the Lickit rudely kicked him out of the tree. Zachary was starting to feel the similar situation with Dizzy's anger toward the thieving fox. It was going to result in a battle, and Dizzy was going to need some help. [break][break] Dizzy had finally caught sight of the dark fox, having ran into open planes and soon was facing , face to face. The stony surface was indeed offering some cover, but Dizzy had enough. The battle started as Dizzy inhaled, and sent out a burst of fire via Flamethrower. The Nitkit however was swift as it jumped overhead from the torrent of fire, spinning in the air with its bushy tail. It was then that he laid down a firm smack with Foul Play! Dizzy was smacked down and sent to the ground, hit by a very powerful Dark attack that would fell most Psychic types like him. [break][break] Zachary soon joined the field of battle, seeing his Delphox take on serious damage. Without his stick, Dizzy was often at a disadvantage already. In bad judgement, Dizzy rose up and tried to use Psyshock. The air flickered with psychic sparks and soon went flying, causing explosions-- sending what nearby wildlife scurrying away. [break][break] "Dizzy, stop! Psychic attacks won't do any good on that fox!" Zachary warned, trying to get through to the enraged fire fox.[break][break] As he looked around, he found a stick of decent size. Tucking the Seedot under his arm, Zachary reached down for the stick. "Dizzy, catch!" Zachary cried, tossing the stick to him. [break][break] Seeing his partner and the stick, Dizzy soon hopped up and caught it, now armed with the means of controlling things again. But that was not how Zachary would stop there. [break][break] Soon, Zachary put the Seedot down on the ground next to him. "Sorry, little guy. Need you to stay put for a bit, okay?" he asked. The Seedot gave a happy chirp and jumped, as if to say 'okay!' With his hands free, Zachary soon took out a violet colored crystal orb from his pocket. His Tera orb. "Time to go Super-Shiny Foil-Rare, Dizzy!" [break][break] Dizzy spun and barked angrily at Zachary, as if to say 'I told you never to call it that!'. [break][break] Zachary held up the Tera Orb, gathering specks of multi-colored light. As they gathered into the orb, the inside glowed with the power of the Tera ensignia. [break][break] "Terastelization!" Zachary cried and threw the Tera orb to Dizzy. The orb stopped mid air-- and flashed with red light. [break][break] Dizzy was suddenly surrounded by ruby-colored crystals, encasing him for a brief second-- only to erupt to shards, revealing the fox Pokemon! [break][break] Dizzy now stood with a crystal sheen along his fur, and a glowing calabrara-like crown on his head, shining brightly. [break][break] Dizzy growled, now powered up with the power of Tera Boost-- and no longer weak to the impact of Dark moves. [break][break]Nickit was aback with shock, seeing Dizzy transform like that. She was now in trouble... [break][break]

Meanwhile as Dizzy battled Niclit, another Pokemon observed. It had been minding his own business, looking for food and practicing his own fighting skills. A blue blur scurrying around the place. However, it soon saw the flash of red and powerful transformation. The little Riolu popped his head out from behind a rock, to see the Delphox transformed with the crystal crown. Further, he also saw Zachary behind him, giving him guidance and support. It also knew the Nickit, a nasty character who had caused trouble all through the safari zone for weeks! The Riolu was no friend to it. [break][break] It watched in interest, seeing the Delphox and his trainer battle. [break][break] Nickit took action to the transformation, now using Night Slash to try and slash at Dizzy. Dizzy quickly jumped back, just feeling a small sting of the attack-- but not nearly as critical as before. Dizzy brushed it away as he glared angrily at the enemy fox. [break][break] Nickit was agape, realizing his dark attacks were no longer hurting as much as they did on the Psychic type he thought he could tease. [break][break] But nope, Dizzy was now stronger. Dizzy raised his stick up, building up fiery energy. "Dizzy-- Tera Blast!" Zachary shouted, shoving a fist out towards Nickit. [break][break] Dizzy gathered fiery energy before him with his stick-- and soon a dazzling flare of fire and ruby sparks fired out, being a swirling mass of fire. The blast struck the dark fox, sending it a few meters back. Dizzy showed a glare from where he was, his crown shining with his fury. [break][break] However, the dark fox was not done as he soon rose up, now taking the fight it started more serious. It was going to fight more-- and pay the Delphox back. [break][break] However, it was then a new contender appeared. [break][break] Unable to contain himself, Riolu intervened. With a fox-like cry, the blue fox jumped into the fray from above and descended down. With a paw, it struck the Nickit-- resulting in a crushing blow of Rock Smash that sent the Nickit into the ground, sending shards of stone and earth flying around them. [break][break] Dizzy and Zachary braced themselves as the stone flew, and soon found Nickit defeated, along with the presence of the new mysterious pokemon. [break][break] Quick to act, Zachary took out his Safari Ball he saved for Nickit. "This ends now!" Zachary shouted and threw the ball at Nickit! The ball struck the fox in the tail-- and soon vanished inside it. The ball wobbled and soon stopped, sealing the thieving fox inside. [break][break] Nickit was finally captured, and hopefully would grow a better temperament. [break][break] Zachary slowly approached, and next to the Safari Ball-- was Riolu. It only hit Zachary now that the Riolu helped stop Nickit and helped capture it. "Oh wow... A Riolu. I never thought I'd see one. Hi there..." Zachary said. [break][break] With the battle done, Dizzy approached. His crystal coating form began to glow-- then the sheen vanished with a shatter, the shards of tera crystals that once covered his body now faded away into the air, along with the crown Dizzy had worn. Dizzy too looked to the smaller blue fox, curious by him too. [break][break] Riolu didn't flinch, seemed scared or bothered by Zachary. It seemed quite comfortable with the human. Perhaps he was impressed by Zachary, or Dizzy, or grateful they had sought to stop the Nickit all together. Either way, Riolu looked up with friendliness and curiosity. It was completely at ease with Zachary, as if sensing his good will and character. [break][break] Remembering that Riolu were extremely rare and special, Zachary took out his Pokedex and soon scanned it. [break][break]" Riolu, the amination pokemon. Though infantile in appearance, it has the mysterious ability to read the minds of humans. The pure of heart are met with Riolu's approval, while those of ill nature earn only its loathing. It uses the mysterious energy known as 'aura' to communicate and use it to avoid dangerous opponents during its young age. "[break][break] Zachary snapped the Pokedex closed, realizing why Riolu and its evolution was so powerful. "That explains it. It can understand people almost intuitively and even communicate with them better than others. That's very special," Zachary said as he knelt down to Riolu. "That was very brave of you. Thanks for your help, little guy. I'm Zachary. It's nice to meet you." [break][break] Zachary extended a hand towards the Riolu, as if to shake its paw. Riolu looked to the hand for a moment, then back up at Zachary. Unafraid, it touched Zachary's hand and Zachary shook it gently, despite the blue fox having no thumbs to make a proper shake. [break][break] Carefully, Zachary raised his hand and dared to pat Riolu's head, feeling its soft fur. "Oh wow... you're a really cool, and cute , blue fox aren't you? " Zachary commented, to which Riolu accepted the head pat, finding it somewhat pleasant. Even though a touch embarassing-- Riolu just felt it. Zachary's overwhelming kindness and care. He didn't feel threatened even for a moment. [break][break] Dizzy puffed out his fur a bit, a touch jealous by the attention of the fellow fox. "Grruff! Rrrr!" Dizzy growled, pouting. Zachary soon turned, seeing his Delphox partner's reaction. [break][break] "Not that you aren't cute Dizzy! Come on, your the coolest, fire fox around! " Zachary said, commenting his partner. [break][break] Dizzy just crossed his arms, neither arguing or rebuttling against it. [break][break] As the moment passed, Zachary picked up the Safari Ball containing Nickit. He put it away and soon checked his time on his poketec. Time was almost out on the Safari Zone pass. He would be called out soon. He then turned back to Riolu, still impressed by the blue fox. [break][break] "Hey, Riolu-- I know we just met and all, but would you like to be part of my Pokemon team? I know the idea of being with a trainer may be a bother to some wild Pokemon, but I think we can be a great team if you are willing to---" [break][break] Zachary couldn't finish as soon Riolu gave an enthused raise of his paw and cry of joy! He soon looked excited, as if he was ready to already battle and fight. The idea of being with a trainer-- a good trainer-- excited the little fox. Perhaps it longed to be with a human trainer, just as much as any kid wanted to be a Pokemon Trainer. [break][break] Zachary laughed at the Riolu's enthusiasm. "I'll take that as a yes! Thank you, Riolu! I promise, I'll do my best as your trainer." Zachary promised, and soon took out his last Safari Ball. [break][break] Enthusiastically, Riolu raised a paw like a 'high-five' and slapped the button on the Safari Ball. Riolu became energy and was sucked into the Pokeball, becoming part of Zachary's new team! [break][break] Zachary smiled as he got his new pokemon. By then, Prophet who had flew from above joined them below, to which Dizzy greeted with a bark. As the timer went off-- their time in safari zone had ended. [break][break] While Dizzy had been tested, in his foxy nature-- they soon earned two new foxes worth new adventures together! [break][break]So they were summoned out of the safari zone, with new friends in toe. [break][break]
