Falkor let out a soft cry, drawing Knight's attention towards a nearby bush and tree. Knight didn't see anything from where he was sitting, so he rose and went over, "What's up?"[break][break]

But as he stood with his Pokémon, he saw immediately why he was agitated -- there was a Quilava but its leg seemed caught on something.[break][break]

Knight knelt and studied the 'mon, holding his hands up so it would know he wasn't going to hurt it, "I'll get you out in a second... Wow, a poaching trap? Out here?" Well, if Knight thought about it for long enough, he'd know that made sense.[break][break]

But it was still upsetting.[break][break]

Team Rocket really would stop at nothing to get their hands on Pokémon huh? Kay frowned as he forced the trap open, letting the Quilava free itself before letting go so it would snap shut again. He found where it was pegged into the ground and pulled it free. He'd take it home and report it to a Ranger.[break][break]

"Now, let's see..." Knight mused, digging into his pocket for a berry, "Here you go." He offered it to the Quilava who, understandably, was reluctant to take it at first. His Drampa seemed to encourage the Quilava to trust Knight and the fire type slowly nibbled on the berry.[break][break]

With hands on his hips, Kay watched the Pokémon and then let out a soft sigh, "I can't leave you here like this. Would you be willing to come home with me? I can nurse you back to health..." Or he'd get help from his friends to nurse the Quilava. It just didn't feel right to abandon it like this.[break][break]

The Quilava didn't seem so certain at first but then limped closer to Knight and he was able to scoop it up, holding it carefully so he wouldn't hurt its leg, "I bet you've never flown before." He grinned, taking out a premier ball and holding it so the Quilava could choose to be caught or not.
