it had been from a trip to another dimension, courtesy of father winter's first appearance in the region.

he had traveled to another place with bryan delarosa where his iteration had been a draconid, who defended the tree of life from megalopolans who sought out to drain it of whatever it had.

"i only know because i saw it from one of those wonky trips by father winter. not sure if it applies to our universe too, but hey, that's better news than no news, right?"

he thought the rocket beast had shared the intel, but he supposed both of them thought of it as irrelevant back then.

he'd call Cillian Quinn by his old monicker he used to address himself as, but there still was a need to accustom himself away from something he has used for years before.

"he has it in his possession, i think." he had been given the offer to borrow it if needed, but priam doubts he would.

"i also found one with mister dela rosa." he would call bryan delarosa by just his given name, but since he already addressed the underboss with a similar convention, he supposed the beast needed one too.

he blinks at the ambition. distortion world is known to be inhospitable, but the idea of it was enough to make him smile.

it feels appropriate to be called an old man by priam when the young errand boy is almost half his age, so he finds that he does not mind it. if anything, it's almost endearing, though such sentiment is not meant for his kind.

"that seals the deal."

he does not bother correcting priam even if he had pushed for the promotion for different reasons. the boy is free to believe whatever he wants to.

"it'll be yet another one of our fishing expeditions."

only the catch this time will be far greater than a mere magikarp.
