Something shiny caught their attention, lying on the side of the road. Curious, Dizzy approached the strange metal plate on the ground. It was almost like a face with an odd shape as Dizzy picked it up, seeing how shiny it was. [break][break] It was then suddenly, the strange disk jumped in the fox's paws. Alarmed by the fire type, the Bronzor tore free from the pokemon's paws. With a loud metallic cry, the floating piece of metal flew off back into the tall grass, vanishing from view. [break][break] Dizzy looked dumbfounded, not realizing it was a Pokemon too. EVen Zachary was surprised by it. "Don't take it personally, Dizzy. Maybe it was just shy." he said, trying hard not to laugh. [break][break] Dizzy just grumbled, feeling silly it didn't know it was a pokemon[break][break]

As they moved through the winding road, the movement of something caught both their attention. A strange osterage-- and soon Zachary recognized it. A Espathra--a bird-like psychic type. Zachary had one named Cleo, and though he hesitated to use her in battles yet, he had to admit the bird was quite beautiful. "Wow, Dizzy look at that? She's pretty regal, isn't she?" Zachary said. He wasn't interested in battling or catching it, but looked on in interest to see the bird graze along. Dizzy gave a happy bark at the sight of the bird. [break][break]The two paused on their trip to watch as the bird grazed, eating some flowers it liked as it moved and craned around. Zachary, tempted, took out his phone and took a picture of it. One of the thrills he had was taking pictures of these pokemon in their natural environment. It was similar to the Safari Zone. He snapped a few pictures, intending to share it with friends. [break][break] Eventually, the bird took notice to Zachary and Dizzy in the distance. It gazed at them for a moment, then after with its tummy full and not wanting to stick around, the bird took off running into the tall grass again, wary of the human presence. [break][break] Zachary let out a breath, sad to see it go but glad he got some photos. The two continued back on the road to the next town... [break][break]

They were nearing the end of their trek, the winding roads leading to the distant area of a nearby town. However-- as they walked, a sudden gust of wind spwet through the field. The tall grass blew violently, and Zachary and Dizzy felt the sting of the wind. The two braced themselves from the violent gust. "What's going on?!" Zachary shouted, his Delphox too giving a bark of dismay. [break][break] It was then that suddenly overhead, a shadow formed. At first Zachary thought it was a storm-- but it soon turned out to be a shape. A very unusual bird shape that flew overhead! Zachary looked up, and surprise turned to awe. [break][break] A MASSIVE SIGILYPH. He would have thought it was a legendary pokemon if he didn't know any better. Even Dizzy was impressed by how big it was, looking more like an airship than a pokemon. [break][break] "No way!" Zachary gasped as he took out his pokedex. [break][break][break][break] It was clearly powerful as its 'eye' locked on to Zachary and Dizzy. A cluster of psychic energy began to form before it-- preparing to fire. [break][break] "Uh oh!" Zachary gasped. He quickly took out a Pokeball. While he wanted Dizzy to battle it, that attack would hit them both. "Happy! We need you!" Zachary cried and threw out a Pokeball. [break][break] The ball opened and from its light, an adorable Mime Jr. appeared. The little mime cheered and soon saw the massive beast above them, along with the incoming PSybeam attack. With a small cry of surprise, Happy soon raised its little arms-- and a veil of rainbow light appeared. Light Screen was used, as the beam came down-- which was soon diffused and shattered to sparkling bits of light against the mime's shield. [break][break] Happy's fast action saved them, but now Zachary knew this would only end in a battle. "Okay, if it wants a fight, let's give it one. Dizzy, your up!" Zachary encouraged. Dizzy gave a positive bark and jumped into the fray next to Happy. He drew his stick and it became alit with flames. [break][break] "Dizzy, use Calm Mind! Power up!" Dizzy focused, its body and eyes glowing with building psychic power as used the move. [break][break] However as it did, power also gathered in SIGILYPH. Sky Attack!. The enemy was preparing for a mighty dive-bomb and probably a strong one as it slowly began to gather energy and loom closer. [break][break] Seeing this, Zachary knew it was coming in soon for a direct attack! "Dizzy, hurry! Use Mystical Fire!!" he shouted. [break][break] With the runic bird in his sights, Dizzy raised his stick and drew a circle. Rainbow flames came from the tip, making a circle in the air. Finally, as the bird began its descent, Dizzy howled and blew out fire from its mouth towards it. [break][break] Rainbow fire shot skyward, and struck the SIGILYPH. It let out a loud groan as it was hit-- and causing it to diverge from its path. [break][break] The massive bird-like pokemon soon fell to the fields, crashing down and sliding, leaving a massive trench in its wake. Zachary quickly ran towards it, seeing it in its weakened state. [break][break] This was his chance. "Alright! You're MINE SIGILYPH!" Zachary shouted and threw a Pokeball towards it. [break][break] The ball hit its back, being such a large target. In that moment, the ball opened and its body glowed-- transformed into energy. It took several seconds for its massive size to be contained as it was collected and sucked into the Pokeball. [break][break] It wobbled, showing some resistance. A pause was in the air as Happy and Dizzy joined him, seeing the ball wobble. Finally, it stopped, securing the beast. [break][break] A sigh of relief came from Zachary, and he flopped to the ground, having been exhausted. [break][break] Mimicking him, Happy did the same on the grass, leaving Delphox to look at them both with a puzzled face. [break][break] "That was scary... but so worth it..." Zachary sighed, feeling tired from the journey and the battle. [break][break] "Mimi..." Happy chirped. [break][break] After a moment's rest, Zachary got up and retrieved the new Pokemon. With it in hand, he slowly got to his senses and returned to his partner Pokemon. All squred away, they headed on to the end of the road and to the next town...[break][break]
