she takes the outstretched container from him with a small, grateful smile before grabbing her own utensils and beginning to pick at the top layer of food. it tastes amazing and she can feel the rumbling of her empty stomach slowly begin to subside.

she pauses to take another bite of food. after chewing and swallowing, she continues.

and deep down, she suspects their avatars will end up preoccupied by those on rocket's side. her match has already been decided long before this conversation, after all - written in the stars, even.

at his question, however, she tenses further. does it truly matter which one? the information was received and passed along regardless. her mouth opens to make some terse remark, but the tone dies out in her throat when their eyes lock and all she can manage is the soft whisper of a name.

in a way, perhaps, he's correct - Cillian Quinn has been the least threatening against her, at the very least. she cannot say the same for THEO BECKETT. her wrists still remember the restraints, the cage he made for her small, wounded body. and Elisabeth Fiorelli, it seems, is not the person she had met in petalburg city after all. even now, she knows little of the woman except the string of misdoings trailing behind her like a wretched cape.
