As he gazed up at the full moon out that night, Samuel reclined on the white lounge chair, clad in only a white bathrobe and some blue swim trunks. He had a pair of sunglasses on, and had just come back from a dip with his college friends – they’d enjoyed kicking their way through some water while catching up.

Further inward, in the veranda, was a massive cake with a Walrein ice sculpture on it. His college friend Chris’s Walrein had just evolved, and the wealthy Chris was keen on celebrating the event in the most ostentatious way possible. Samuel couldn’t blame his friend for it; back when they’d first met, Chris had been a struggling Trainer. It was good to see a friend get better.

Samuel wiped his face with a nearby towel. So far, so good.

The resort was an interesting place, and rumored was a party was going on. It was one of those parties where anyone could enter-- if you knew what to say and looked like you belonged. Of course being a swimming poolside party was something Phoebe had little experience with, often covered up and dressed in less conspicuous attire...[break][break] ... or so she told herself. [break][break] As she decided to see if she could crash the party, and find something of interest-- she had her little friend prowl around. [break][break]
As she entered the changing room, she released her companion "Lupin" a Florigato that just evolved himself. The grass cat gave a pleasant meow and purr as he looked up at Phoebe. [break][break]"You know what to do," she said with a smirk. [break][break] As she left, the Florigato got all stealthy and began to sneek around the luxury resort. [break][break]

The party seemed to be hosted by some rich guy. Perfect for scoring loot, bad for personality-- most of the time. People like them thought they were the center of the universe. But she was gonna get some attention this time. [break][break] As everyone was enjoying the food and pool, Phoebe made her entrance as she walked onto the poolside. [break][break] Immediately, stares from others flocked to her as the swimsuit she was wearing. Her hair was loose as she wore a one-piece swimsuit, with stylish slits on the side to show off her frame. The suit was a dark violet color and made her stand out very well as a woman of grace and elegance. Of course the slits in the outfit showed enough to give people a good imagination... [break][break]

All the while as she slipped into the water to swim-- Lupin was prowling upstairs, slipping in through the window of a suite. Specifically, Samuel Boothe's room. The mischevious cat began to sneak around the suite, looking for anything valuable or shiny. [break][break]

Samuel had just been glancing around when he saw an unfamiliar young woman come out of the dressing room – and what a woman, at that! Well, wasn’t that a sight for his poor little eyes. He bit his lip, then continued to observe as the woman submerged herself in the pool.

Already, he could tell that a few other men were making passes at her. But he intended to beat them all to the punch. So, standing up and placing his sunglasses on a nearby table, Samuel walked towards the pool and slipped in.

He did his best to swim around to look inconspicuous before “coincidentally” ending up next to the lady. “Oh, sorry, miss,” he said, not sounding sorry at all, “didn’t see you there.”

Phoebe slipped into the water, clearly feeling the eyes of all the onlookers on her. Nothing new. While she was not a rich person like these other visitors from birth-- she was gifted with beautiful looks it seems. The kind that clearly turned heads with alterior intents. She was 100 percent okay leveraging it to her advantage as she slipped in-- her chest clearly heaving above the water due to their size. [break][break] Embarassing...[break][break] She leasurrely swam, entering mild strokes and back strokes, as she wandered the water, loosing herself in the cool water. It was so nice she didn't notice the man approaching her. [break][break] The bump into the man did stop her as she rose up, as she treaded water their slowly to see him. [break][break] The excuse of not seeing her wasn't exactly convincing...[break][break] "Oh, you didn't see me? You wanna say that when your not drooling? " she said in a playful mocking to the young man. [break][break] It was a cute counter, as a conwoman herself-- she could read someone's bluff too. And besides, it was fun to play with those who clearly would hit on her. [break][break] Meanwhile, her real partner in crime was hard at work as he was inside Sam's room. The cat prowled through the shelves and drawers, finding a few items of rarity-- including a small collection of glittering tera jewels. [break][break] "Mre-hehehehe!" the cat laughed as he pocketed his catch, proceeding uninterrupted as he would glance at the poolside.[break][break] From his perch, the cat could see Phoebe clearly flirting-- though made the cat frown a bit, feeling a bit jealous for the attention. [break][break] Phoebe tossed some of her hair to the side, giving a better view of her features as she floated there before the man, her features a bit more 'exposed' now for his party. [break][break]

Oh, Samuel gave Phoebe’s features an eyeful, alright – and without an ounce of shame on his end. Fortunately, she seemed to appreciate it rather than get mad. “It’s water, I swear! I’m not drooling!” he said, badly feigning surprise. Even a little kid could tell he wasn’t being serious.

Her figure was certainly quite enviable – Samuel could see a few men eyeing them from out the corner of his eye. Too bad; he’d gotten there first. “Although on the topic of sight, I’ve never seen you around before. Name’s Samuel Boothe.” He wondered if she’d heard of his family, but he didn’t much care.

"A pleasure to meet you, mr. Booth," Phoebe replied as she treaded the water lazily, being polite and interested all the same. He was silly, but he was cute in a way. He may of been the center of this rich-man's party, but she had no problem being friendly. After all, Lupin was the one doing the trouble for the moment. [break][break] "Call me, Mystique..." She said, giving her 'alias' in a charming manner. [break][break] The alias of her phantom thief life-- and code name in Team Rocket. Odds were, he wouldn't know it. Still when the time came, she intended to leave an impression on this party. [break][break] Meanwhile... a certain feline scaled back down the wall, loot in paw as the cat easily reached the area of the party, sneaking around as it also picked some goods from people who were unattended. The cat burglar was indeed having his share of fun, while many were distracted by Phoebe's... charms. [break][break]
