The battle of Sootopolis made it clear that Rocket could afford no half measures. They needed to full send on any given plan of action or they'd be better off waving the white flag. [break][break]

Her part was largely research-based, but she took breaks from her dream research to help acclimate those coming in from other regions and those just finally getting to the front lines. Today, she was paired with Shion, though she didn't know how familiar he was with the tera crystals that freckled the walls of the seafloor cavern. [break][break]

"Have you seen them before?" The crystals were small up here, but the deeper they went, the larger they would get.

Hoenn was proving to be... exhausting. After being dropped into the middle of a warzone in Petalburg to help clean up and patch up, they sent him to look at some rocks. Shion sighed reluctantly as he gazed around the cavern, small glittering crystals of different shades dotted the walls and even the ceiling. He couldn't deny that it was beautiful looking, but he wasn't quite sure what it was he was looking at, or even for.[break][break]

"I can't say I have, frankly." He glanced over at Ameena, a curious look in his eyes. He'd heard other rank and file Rockets talk about them, the tera crystals, but more specifically about how strange shit happened wherever they were. "I've heard others talk a little about them, but that's it."

"They are a powerful resource," Ameena explains once Shion answered. "There is actually a lot to talk about, but many do not understand the potential of them." There was a clear divide between those that were researchers and those that were laymen when it came to tera crystals. Sometimes, an elevated trainer knew how to terastallize, but this was only one execution of the tera crystals' power. [break][break]

She plucked a very small emerald shard from the wall, one that had already splintered off of its mother gem. "They power different moves, if you find one charged with its respective energy. A psychic-tuned crystal for a psychic move, and so on, so forth." She offered the shard to Shion to hold if he was interested. "But these also attract paradox pokemon. Are you familiar with those?"
