Easter had been stuck nose deep in her research, trying to find out the secrets of the universe as usual, when she found herself awoken by a sudden noise. Whatever it was had interrupted such a good dream! She stretched from her chair, the whirring and tiny noises of her lab comforting, but she kept thinking about what woke her up.

What had it been? No way...was it...a ghost? An evil spirit come to take revenge for their lover cheating on them?! Easter was too young to die! She flicked on the lights.

No one was there.

Huh.

She yawned. She was probably overthinking again. It was time to check on the servers anyway. Someone always had to double-check the servers were working properly and uninterrupted and tonight it was her job. She locked up her lab and entered the hallway when she spotted something in the corner of her eye. It was a moving figure down the hall. But no one was supposed to be here tonight except for her...

She screamed. "EEEYAAAHHHH! GHOST!"

Cillian's not a jumpy guy. But when someone screams at the top of their lungs, even the mighty Harbinger tenses in brief alarm. His head whips around.[break][break]

Had she spotted his Dhelmise lurking in some shadow? But no. She's staring at him.[break][break]

Shadows twist and warp beneath his will, a mass of writhing MIASMA that blocks off any exit. Those SHADOWS HOLD them both here, for better or worse.[break][break]
