her name pops up every now and then on social media. kyle wasn't sure what she was doing on hoenn, but seeing her try out the chaotic contraption surprised him.

it shouldn't, he tells himself. these type of people don't really get high up their careers by playing it safe.

having met her by coincidence and offered to accompany her here, kyle finds himself lost in the realism of the simulation. it was all too surreal once they're inside the system, even if they consider the absurdity of the situation.

"so? what do you think?" he asks her under the scrutiny of the group watching over them. his eyes never left their stare, too intimidated to do anything that can be considered disrespectful. "does miss idol like being in the spotlight?"

they were at a stage. the audience just wasn't what one can feel comfortable with.

Giselle is not a stranger to various agencies extending invitations out to her to try some of their products or services in hopes of receiving a five-star rating review from her. She had recently moved from the Kalos Region to the Hoenn Region, and she has already found herself booking engagements. On this day in particular, she was asked to test out a virtual simulator program for some pretigious company. Of course, she did not come alone. She had invited one of her new acquaintances to join her for the ride.

Giselle narrowed her piercing metallic blue-gray eyes at the older silver-haired female across from them. A quick shiver rushed down her spine as she studied the other woman's physical appearance. Goodness Arceus! She did not age too well. "What do I think? I think that this old hag could use a makeover in the worst way. Look at those wrinkles, and do not get me started on her outfit. Gothic, much?" She responded with a little bit of disgust ringing through her voice. She then blushed and giggled a bit after she realized that she misinterpreted Kyle's question. "Oh, well. You know the spotlight is always a great opportunity to stand out. Good or bad, it doesn't matter!" She added, giving him a playful eye wink.

She shifted her attention away from Kyle to focus on the crowd surrounding them. "I am sorry to disappoint, but I am not doing any autographs right now. So, if you all would be little sweeties and step out of the way, that would be perfect!" she smiled at them.

kyle starts to get nervous and looks at the expression held by those around them. they didn't seem bothered by the words at all, but it still was a show of disrespect.

he looks around. there doesn't seem to be any kind of exit around them, so they were stuck in this position. if stories were to be believed, then the best solution for this was to salvage the situation by being charismatic and defusing the situation.

kyle wasn't charismatic, so he gives up on that front immediately.

"er, do you think they'll take that well?" he asks giselle with a whisper. "they look creepy and..."

his hand travels to his waist, trying to feel for his pokeballs discretely while maintaining eye contact with those that have him as their audience.

in the hexenzirkel's eyes, it was a show of aggression.

"...i looked around. there doesn't seem to be any exits."

part of him is eager to know the extent of how the simulation works entirely. he could have tried to resolve the problem better, but this was the natural course of this encounter. curiosity will kill the cat in this scenario.
