”Hmm?” Joseph looked down to see that an Electrode had rolled over his way, the Pokémon smiling up at him. The young man stared back in response, not exactly sure what the Pokémon wanted but knew it was up to some shit with that look on its face.

And given the type of Pokémon he was dealing with he knew exactly what this little bastard was up to.

”Get out of here.” And just as the Electrode started turning red Joseph gave it a swift kick with enough force to clear it out of his general area. He was in no mood for having that thing around.

Another Pokémon found its way in Joseph’s path and much like the one before he would have to pass. The Pokémon in question stopped its forward march and turned over to the male, wondering what he was doing here.

”Keep on moving, little one.” He said, shooing the Pokémon away with his hand. He smiled and waved as the wartortle went on its way.

Joseph was almost about to call it a day and head home but a rather peculiar scene was happening nearby that caught his attention. A Pachrisu carrying a little bag was running away from a group of Pokémon chasing after it.

From the look of the Pokémon chasing it and the Pachrisu itself it was clear that this little squirrel had been up to no good. And to make matters more interesting the electric type ran right for Joseph, even hiding behind him. ”Alright then.” Joseph had a bit of a laugh to himself as he proceeded to release his Typhlosion.

”Clear them out.” The fire type didn’t need to be told twice as it lunged towards the group of pokemon that were in hot pursuit of the Pachirisu, unleashing an eruption. Once the flames and smoke died down Lucifer stood proudly above the group, nonchalantly then making his way back to his master.

The Pachirisu attempted to get away in all the confusion but was stopped by Joseph who had pressed down on its bag with his foot. ”Not so fast you little thief.” He smiled bending down. The Pachirisu had half a mind to just shock this asshole but the looming Typhlosion nearby kept it at bay.

”Good, not trying anything stupid. You’ve got smarts, that’s for sure.” The Wick joked, patting the Pachirisu on the head which immensely annoyed it. ”Though I have to say the escape could use some work. You’re not supposed to get caught.” The look on the squirrel’s face screamed of accusing Joseph he had no idea what he was talking about.

”If you’re going to steal food you’ve got to make sure that your escape plan is airtight.” He added, holding a piece of the Pachirisu’s stash in his hand.

This caused the Pokémon to have a bit of a moment, it didn’t see him reach into its bag and take something out of it. ”You’re not the only one with a pension for taking things that aren’t theirs. But unlike you I’m not a complete amateur at it.” He teased.

”Though I’ll make you an offer, I’ll teach you all I know, make it so that you don’t have to fight over scraps and all you gotta do is come with me.” The Pokémon mulled it over before agreeing, and with a simple tap of an empty capsule the deal was sealed.
