At least until Team Rocket began to take over the region, having no desire to see where that would go his parents packed up and fled from Kanto to Hoenn. [break][break] They took refuge for awhile with a family that was graciously sheltering groups that fled from Team Rocket, Ben's family stayed there for a few months before his parents picked up new jobs and were able to settle down in a home of their own. While he was there though Ben messaged a friend of hid from Kanto, his best friend actually, and let them know of the place he was staying with his family. He wanted them to get out of Kanto while they could too. [break][break] Ben spent a few years just training pokemon, adding an additional two to his team aside from the starter his parents gave him as a kid. Team Rocket eventually made their way to the Hoenn region though and this time Ben was hellbent on fighting back, there wasn't going to be anymore running, anymore packing up there stuff and leaving, he was gonna do anything he could to stop them.
