Now this was his kind of job! Wrestling with big scary Pokemon to protect a bunch of defenseless livestock! It was like he was a shepherd or a big Stoutland protecting the farm! In short, Caius was hyped to get to work. [break][break]

His attire was comfortable and light, a blue tank top that showed off his brawny arms, a nice navy pair of sweat pants and sneakers. There was no telling what sort of Pokemon was terrorizing the farmers and his dress would provide him full functionality. [break][break]

Just outside of one of the farms he was meant to protect he waited for his partner and there were lofty expectations for them. Caius loved meeting strong trainers and no doubt if someone had signed up with him to protect Pokemon they were probably just as big as he was.[break][break]

Caius was getting some what impatient despite showing up earlier than their allotted meeting time. So many possibilities! Who or what could have been the culprit? This was gonna be so awesome. [break][break]

As he waited for the other trainer to show up he began to do a warm up as he waited for his partner. Boxing the air, every punch forceful and slow. His excitement was well visible, there was no hiding the fact that he was ready to bust some heads.

Ken is not an outdoorsy person in the least. The only time he goes outside is to hand over some important papers to a different building, or what's more likely then that is delivering coffee to his superiors, which happens on the dil which means daily, this is to say that Kentaro is way out of his element taking this job, but he needs the money like hardcore! His bank account is in the negatives, and his wallet is crying to be fed some good cold hard cash.

Hopefully, he isn't about to learn a life lesson through this job. Life lessons suck. They always made his wallet cry even harder. But honestly, Ken was also curious about this Wooloo he kept hearing about on the news, he heard it was cute, but it can't be that cute, can it? If it is he needs one, he needs one as much as he needs food!

While deep in thought, Ken arrived at the farm his feet already aching from the light exercise of walking he should get better shoes and many other better things, like a house, a stove, everything in the world sounds nice, but Ken shakes his head and looks around for his partner for this job and-asdfghjkl-okay he should be fine for this job! If that absolute unit of a man is his partner for this job. Those muscles could pick him up and throw him into space and Ken would thank him for it. Both to get out a job, but to also have those big meaty hands wrapped around his-oh yeah work!

Ken let out a cough and started making his way to the wall of muscles of a man and when he got within speaking distance of him greeted himself to him, "Hello, I'm Kentaro Itoi, it's nice to meet you-um uh-what's your name it seems our boss didn't give us each other's names-" but suddenly mid introduction, a loud rustling from a nearby bush alerted Ken's senses and he quickly grabbed his Pokeball to grab his trusty partner and let him out of his Pokeball with a beam of red Ken let out a Pidgeot from the Pokeball and without a moment's of hesitation the Pideot flew up high and circled around the bush after hearing the rustling and with that something came out it was a---!!!

There was so much going on in his head he felt like he could go crazy with anticipation! So many potential attackers so little time, it was as if whatever force drove the universe was testing his patience as he waited for the attacker to show themselves. [break][break]

At the sound of an approaching body his ears perked up like a Pyroar’s at the sound of incoming prey. Baring his teeth he whipped around to look at the approaching Pokemon only to not see a Pokemon but @kentaro [break][break]

“You’re not a Pokemon.” he narrowed his eyes, “At least not any Pokemon I’ve ever seen.” the words may have sounded disappointed but they were back by his grit. Standing tall and relaxing himself his smile returned, “So you are my partner, you mention a boss. My boss is Evan. You work at the stray?” he asked, though the question wouldn’t need an answer as his attention shifted again from the male before him to the cracking of dying grass. [break][break]

“Do you hear that?” he asked, a rhetorical question, it was obvious something was near. “Get your Pokemon out. We have a fight!” [break][break]

At the word fight something rose into the sky from the brush seeming to have blocked out the sun it was so large. A large Staraptor loomed over the two trainers and farm lands, it had to be larger than the average, this must have been the fiend carrying off the livestock. [break][break]

“I hope you’re good with flying types. Oh and my name’s Caius.” he spoke quickly as he looked in awe at the big bird.

Ken blinked confoundedly up at the giant blond. Ken wasn't expecting this reaction when he walked up to the giant. He came off as a little intense, but thankfully he smiled down at him which caused Ken to flinch a little bit at how nice it was, and he looked away for a moment trying in vain to hide the growing blush on his cheeks, "Um-uh---" was all Ken was able to let out before the sounds of rustling grass spooked him back to the reality of the job and Ken without pausing sent out his Pidgeot Hawkeye.

When the giant of a bird Pokemon flew up into the sky, it was blocking out the sun with its massive form. Ken couldn't help but gawk at it for a brief moment before he collected his wits and replied to the man who introduced himself as Caius, "Yes, I like to think I'm decent with flying pokemon, and I'm Kentaro, by the way," Ken taro introduced himself quickly before focusing back onto the task at hand. The giant of a staraptor was circling the herd now hawkeye was thankfully keeping track of the giant pokemon and was ready to attack on his command. Ken had an idea on how to deal with this thing.

"Hawkeye use Uproar and bring it over here!" Ken yelled out to his partner who nodded as it started to cause a very loud uproar to both to hurt the staraptor and draw its attention away from the herd. It was successful as the Staraptor flinched from the loud noise and tried to ram into Hawkeye at top speeds to make it stop, thankfully Hawkeye dodged and was now making its way towards himself and Caius in an upraor, Ken hoped the giant of a man sent out his pokemon.

It was… Nice. To see the other blonde deal with the Pokemon so handedly. Not many would take the challenge from such a large bird but they did so like a champ. Smiling to himself Caius watched the bird charge him to which he’d duck beneath a pair of talons, just having his cowlicks grazed.

Tossing a Pokeball up his incineroar materialized and when the staraptor came back for a second attack it’d catch a flamethrower straight in its face. A wide blaze seeming to char the bird Pokemon in a decent effort, but it wasn’t out just yet.

The Staraptor flapped its wings swiftly and retreated to the skies yet again, watching the trainers from what it could perceive as a safe distance. “So, Kentaro you been training long? Your bird looks strong, looks healthy, you have it for a few years right?” he was expecting a good number of years in experience.

He had met quite a few new trainers, wouldn’t be surprised if he met a new one but his guy had a big bird that was at least a sign that they had a handle on training unless someone gave it to them. [break][break]

“Either way, look alive. We need to do a little extra.”
