anything will prove tolerable. as much as the girl finds warmth in the momentary change— she is quick to remind herself that these potential comrades are nothing more than a parody of joy. she is lucky enough she gets to keep the two. fingers curl against the shade that is similar to her own. lush enough to match the surroundings of tall grass and a nearby stream.

could she keep just one? would the malicious team not take note of the additional? min closed her eyes. she knew that thinking poorly of the very people that endorsed her would result in a backlash of guilt.

still— the dare was persistent on remaining. a spy did need a few extra creatures. magical or not.

looming before the river meant hustling against the dancing grass. as min allow the mossy strands to brush up against her skin, she caught the figure that lay nestled. it was a greatly eerie presence. one that she had known to grow well acquainted with. discovering one here was the majority of her surprise, rather than what would have been fear. ghostly creatures were not entirely welcoming after all.

opposite to striking conflict, the girl kept going. the little mimikyu was curious, enough that it could only watch from the shade of what might've been comparable to a maze. especially at its height. she did not need an additional troublemaker. min only feared what may have enfolded if the pair exposed themselves for all to see. it was respectable to believe the mask was determined on covering with curse lay beneath.

slowly the stream grew louder.

the endeavor was peaceful. just as the density to the tall grass broke off, she stumbled over something hard. sturdy enough min descended face first into the cliff of the creek with a loud omph! thankfully for what had ever been victim to her lacking in awareness gathered upwards in surprise. as she leaned away from the ground, there was a moisture that cascaded down her face. fingers traced the nose in the immediate crimson which smeared.

she could hear a troubled noise grumble to her left. a little dragon. the blood was not stopping itself, but neither was her temptation that casually pulled out the ball. the bagon was on a frantic speech she could not understand. as if to silence it— min tapped it on its sturdy head. dissipating in the force of light, the reticence from before came. it was just a matter of whether or not it chose to stay within while she tackled the disappearance of blood.

left to right— right to left. with the typical click resounding, all movement halted in its absence. min inched closer to the unsettled current, enrapturing the icy feel as it washed away the blood. eventually it was poised to her features in order to cleanse what discomfort had formed. thankfully nothing had broken.

curing mishaps in the structure of the nose was much more painful than it was for anything else. especially if it meant being conscious in the procedure.

startled by the trace beneath the river, there was an unclear creature that drifted along. now that she had squinted further into the clarity, she noticed it had separated from the rest. extending forth to grasp the slippery presence, curious green eyes countered a look that was nearly as dull as her own. wherever min had gone in this place, something was always waiting for her.

the object—
already prepared tapped the little fish on the head.
it seemed there wouldn't be much of a fight today.

the cases have almost entirely been secured. however— there is still one that encourages her to continue onward. despite the mess of an irritation that was rising against her still dirty face, an additional source drove that heed elsewhere. a stench. it was akin to rotting food or other substances that had long overdue the date of being fresh.

she placed a hand across her mouth, beginning to move from the edge of the stream. whatever had been stinking of distaste was fading elsewhere with each step she took. maybe it had been a good thing. the heap of residue was hardly sane enough not to confront the disheveled girl. on the path of the torrent there might have been something else waiting besides the source she'd barely encountered.

there was a final tranquility to her previous stumble. no creatures in sight. it was just the wind that coiled through the nearby grass, the race of the water that tore downward. just as she was beginning to think she might've been out of luck— a flame caught her attention.

within the daunting ledge of the stream, a little charmander crouched over. its stubby little hands curiously reached towards the cool presence. completely unaware of the danger it was in as the bank slowly shifted.

min darted forward just as soon as the amber begun sliding forward. hands grasped onto the tail, overhearing the frail cries as it clawed into the stream. possibly taking a face—full of water. attentively she hauled the little thing back onto land, allowing a heavy breath to part from her lips.

"are they all this thoughtless." min wondered, the presence of a gaze causing her to look down at the charmander. in contrast to the wonder it held, she seemed rather tired. without warning the last of the casing descended upon the creature.
