JCINK OR PROBOARDS? We're currently deliberating upon this potential move to the Jcink platform. Jcink has several tools that allow for automation of staffwork. The safari zone is popular. Bustling, one might say. Trainers, pokemon, hell, even civilian tourists observing the preservation on the outskirts bring an excitable air to the grounds. There was a fine selection this week from what Alex understood, with at least one of the pokemon being just his type. He has no specific plan when it comes to hunting, preferring instead to wander and improvise. The environment is one wherein his predilection towards feeling things out, following his instincts and, quite frankly, just playing around, is actually a decent course of action. He was bound to run into something interesting by just being there. That was the point.

Despite his affability and extroversion, Alex prefers to roam the less crowded areas of the safari. The further he ventures into depths that fit that description, the cooler the air gets. This particular chill feels… different.

Behind a tree, in the refuge of shade, a head peeks out. Covered in cloth, curious and coveting. Alex’s eyes meet the imitation of eyes; this is a creature of artifice.

Instead of stepping forward, Alex leans down. He knows not to hover, but to humble himself. Trust is earned, and reciprocated, as the curious pokemon, mimikyu comes out of hiding, at least somewhat. The shadow of the tree is large, but not large enough to bridge the gap between the two. Mimikyu fully reveals itself, and steps to the edge of the shadow, but not one step over. The ray of the sun is harsh, and it couldn’t be entirely sure if the intent of the trainer before it was harsher. But this a chance. Alex, humbled further, takes it. He walks slowly to the edge, and the two meet. ”Hello there.” he smiles. That seems to be all it takes. An intrigued look at the safari ball on his waist is enough of a sign. Alex lifts the ball as if to silently ask you want in, yes? Yes.

A gentle tap of the ball against the mimikyu’s head, and the deed is done.
