The first Pokémon Samuel managed to come upon was a Dugtrio. Nothing particularly out of the ordinary, the Dugtrio was rather friendly and was just curious as to the human that was walking around its territory.

Samuel gave the little Pokémon some treats and the ground type was on its way. This was a nice start to the day.

Samuel had ventured deeper into the route, getting closer to the famous Meteor Falls. As he looked toward the cave he noticed something coming straight for him, and it was moving fast. He was able to make out what it was as it soared closer and closer to him, a Garchomp. The Pokémon clearly had marked Sam as its next target.

Before it could manage to come down and make the blonde male its next meal, Samuel summoned forth his Obstagoon to impede it. The Dragon was shocked that the Obstagoon managed to block its attack, the two Pokémon exchanging an intense glare before Samuel’s Obstagoon pushed it away.

”Well aren’t you pushy.” Samuel smiled as he examined the Garchomp. Its body covered in scars, the result of many battles no doubt. You could even also tell from the intense look in its eye that this Pokémon was a warrior and Sam very much so wanted its power for his own.

”Taunt.” The man ordered. Forcing the Garchomp to attack would make his plan much easier as he instructed his Obstagoon to use Obstruct to counter the dragon’s next attack. Still, under the effects of the taunt, the Garchomp attacked yet again this time Obstagoon used counter.

All that power being used against it, it was almost sad. ”Double-Edge” From defense to offense, Obstagoon crashed into the Garchomp weakening it enough for Samuel to attempt to capture the mighty Pokémon.
