He steps further into the long forgotten power plant with curiosity having heard the stories. Jiraiya follows closely behind him; albeit hidden. The lights around him flicker about creating an eerie atmosphere, but both he and Jiraiya have long since grown accustomed to the darkness. Supposedly the plant had been overrun by Pokemon yet he'd seen nothing yet.

He's surprised by the sudden appearance of the steely rat. Electricity sparks from its yellow cheeks as it briefly looks to him. Unwilling to call Jiraiya out to potentially injure itself from the pokemon's electric touch, he watches the Togedemaru in silence until it finally leaves, bored of his presence and silence.

Seeing it run off into the darkness, he treks further down the hallway.

His ears twitch to the sound of shuffling feet nearby. His eyes dart and lock onto another rat pokemon; though its shape and colors are rather odd. It turns to look at the human in front of it - its initial design appears rather cute, yet in an unexpected turn, the yellow fur on its body becomes purple as if something had poisoned it. Its eyes narrow down taking on a red glint as it makes a mad dash towards him.

The Greninja besides him shifts and countering the creature with a dark blade in its hand swiping it away with night slash. Wasting no time, Ken takes out an unused pokeball from his pack and tosses it at the strange looking rat.
