HELLO, EVERYONE! We're entering our 7th Arc on Hoenn! The setting and timeline will be updated to reflect this. Stay tuned as we explore the year of the dragon (or draconids?), while the site narrative brings Hoenn closer and closer to unparalleled dangers.

JCINK OR PROBOARDS? We're currently deliberating upon this potential move to the Jcink platform. Jcink has several tools that allow for automation of staffwork. hoenn is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise.

skin is created by pharaoh leap with graphical help from red. we would like to thank leap and meulk for their additional templates (staff temp, custom pc).

next, garden/swarm spawn, ranger raid, black market, pkmn contest post templates were coded by ulla.

teal has created the wild spawn, endeavour list, league card, exhibits. he and spiral also created the gachapon script, while the former created the gachapon template.

loreq has assisted us with many quality of life changes on site involving coding fixes, plugins and more.

lav has coded in UI accessibility features on Hoenn (cogwheel icon on the navigational sidebar).

characters belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours. thank you for stopping by.

SYNOPSIS: the hoenn league has successfully diverted the 99943 meteno meteroid into an alternate universe. consequently, the region has experienced a violent planeshifting, a bombardment of terastal crystals, and now sports various rifts to realms in the ultra wilds. as megalopolan activity begins to rise, trainers who embark in expeditions to these realms uncover secrets behind the condition of the multiverse.
meanwhile, team rocket and the league amass resources to aid in their conflict against each other. the crime syndicate is poised to take more of the region territorially, while the league ponders a direct offense. legendary pokemon roam the region as potential benefactors or ruinous omens, leaving many to ponder how the hoenn region will ultimately be responsible for the end of all worlds.

A trainer who's more than a little fanatic about battling, by Pokemon battle or otherwise.
Tends to sell off Pokemon that aren't aggressive, makes money this way and keeps aggressive Pokemon for his own battles.
A bit of a lazy mutt of a man.
Overtly friendly, but never actually close to anyone.[break][break]

WHAT THE LEAGUE KNOWS[break][break]

Literally a nobody, kept his head down and thus, is only known as a trainer that occasionally gives out Pokemon.

WHAT ROCKET KNOWS[break][break]

A grunt who is great for any additional muscle needed, will willingly hurt with both Pokemon and human means.
"Lazy bastard"
Will do the minimum of work, keep an eye on him if you want work done thoroughly. The exception is fights, his favorite job.
Besides his powerful Pokemon, is just a grunt, no real authority ever since he showed up and wanted to be ordered around.

Left his home when he hit his teenage years, and while he wanders, he has a home in Slateport.
Very, very lonely, but in no hurry to remedy this problem.
Thinks being good is far too much work, evil is honestly easier.
Paranoid about being weak, and wants to not be hurt.
