olivia awaited her afternoon appointment in her sunroom, the floor to ceiling windows within the sixth tower of silver spire flooded the room with light. a steaming kettle and two tea cups embellished with silver crowns sat on a polished cherrywood table. olivia took a seat on one of the fluffed pillows in a deep royal blue, she herself dressed in a silk kimono adorned with crescent moons and long winding spirals of silver that crashed like waves into her sleeves.
it was traditional wear, and a rare moment of solitude for the councilwomen. this meeting would be quick, olivia presumed, given the history between the man she was set to meet. a knock at the door alerted her vaporeon and azumarill, the former yawning before settling into a sleeping position while the latter waddled over to the door.
"there, there, calypso." olivia shushed as she opened the door, the exhaustion in her face visible. the slateport new year's incident fresh on her mind and a coming council meeting as well. "hello. simeon, was it?" she asked, stepping back to allow the man to enter.
