despite the many roaming pokemons, katherine didn't once feel as if she should stop invading their home. the contrary, if anything... she found it easier to travel through the forest, with hatenna cradled between her hands, knowing that so many of them passed by her and did nothing. they were used to it, and she had nothing to worry about.

hatenna, however, seemed to tire herself out.
or maybe the arms of her partner were just too comfortable.

whatever it was, she began to snooze then and there, not minding the place or the time. oh well.

the idea of finding another gible enticed the rocket member.

no, not because she needed one. no, not because she promised someone to capture one for them. simply because this particular pokemon tied well into katherine's plans. how well precisely? well, that'd depend on the gible in question. she knew that training new pokemons - wild ones in particular - wasn't always so easy. some of them weren't meant to partner with humans.

the second gible katherine was looking for. hatenna, who was still asleep in her hands, seemed almost too peaceful to disturb. "you should rest, you're probably too tired..." kat mumbles before retrieving two pokeballs. one to send hatenna back into, and the other, to summon a different partner of hers.

the murkrow cries much like a crow would as soon as it materializes, beginning to circle his trainer with seemingly no goal. "hey, qrow. i missed you too."

alas, it seems like the arrival of the avian pokemon made the gible run away in fear. they'll have to look for another!

the response from katherine's partner didn't take long to arrive, the crow-like pokemon crying its name as if to say that it understood. while clearly proving that it didn't. "i...-" the rocket member decides to let him act the way he wanted to, if only because trying to discipline him seemed too tiring at the moment. "we want to find one of the pokemons like the one you scared, qrow. a gible."

it seemed as if the cries of kat's murkrow drew the attention of a starley who flew nearby, if only to see what was going on. it chose not to stay for too long, of course. why would it? qrow wasn't very friendly towards others, after all.

"did you find something interesting, qrow?" kat's murkrow merely shook his head in response, after shooting a stare at a rookidee who flew nearby him. perhaps he didn't want another bird in the team, so he preferred to stay quiet.

and now, yet another rookidee flies by them. they had seen plenty by now, even a shiny one that katherine chose to capture. but the glory of being one of the flying-types in her team wasn't meant to be shared by many, as evident by qrow's jealousy. there were only a couple the murkrow was willing to share this position with.

they walk for a long while.

both murkrow and katherine spot numerous more rookidees and starleys, and the both of them both know that that none of them are the ones kat searched for. but eventually, just as the sun begins to set... it happens. murkrow cries its name after what seemed to be a few good hours, calling for the rocket-member to look in the direction it was looking at.

"nightshade, murkrow. before he sees you!" and like magic, the crow-looking pokemon shoots a dark beam at the shiny gible, who almost immediately begins to burrow into the ground. "murkrow..! we don't want it to escape. feint attack, now!" once more, it cried its name-- but this time, using a tone that couldn't be ignored. a shriek left the crow's beak, forcing the shiny gible - and many other pokemons - to stare at it.

and by the time it did, murkrow reached it, ready to headbutt it.

"..good job!" a pokeball is thrown at the gible before it attempts to escape once more.
