MARCH UPDATE

Asher frowned as the students around him ran in circles in a panic. They had taken a trip to Odale Town from Littleroot, a school trip, a field trip! Asher had wanted to shoe them how to traverse a route correctly.

His aid was keeping them decently quiet, offering them comfort and patting their heads while giving them hugs and snacks. Their panic was justified.

While they had been healing their Pokémon at the Pokémon Center, a giant of a Snorlax had fallen asleep at the entrance of the town. There would be no getting back to Littleroot of he didn’t get something done about the Snorlax... so he tossed out his copperajah and took in a deep breath.

Cupping his hands over his face, he began shouting to the other side of the great beast.

“If there is anybody over there, I’d get out of the way!! I plan on waking the beast up to move it! Try and steer clear of it!!”

Oldale Town was cute, quaint, and reminded of the small towns in her fairytale books she's read when she was younger. These old towns always held secrets she was more than eager to discover. She wasn't here to discover 'magical' secrets, however. She was on her journey of collecting feline Pokemon friends when she was forced to engage in battle on the way. Her poor Skitty was injured and needed to get to a Pokemon Center pronto.

On her way there, she and her companion Empress the Persian were blocked by a rather large Pokemon: a Snorlax. She sighed and pouted at the intrusion. "There's no way this is happening..." she said more to herself than anyone else. Just then she heard a male voice from the other side of the Snorlax. Her warned her to move away from the Pokemon as he was going to attempt to wake it up. Right, of course. That made sense. But she wondered if the man would need help. This was a big creature after all.

"Would you like some help?" She asked to the man over on the other side. She wasn't sure what help she could offer as her cats were nowhere near the size of this behemoth.

Hearing the small voice on the other side of the snorlax made Asher frown. It was a voice older than the children who were panicked behind him, but younger than himself, or even is teacher's aid. It had him groaning and rubbing a hand over his face in irritation. Couldn't she just step aside?[break][break]

No, it always has to have a bit of complication.[break][break]

"No, that's quite alright!" [break][break]

Asher called over, tossing out a luxury ball. He caught it once his copperajah, Bridget, emerged. The ground shook as she was released, which caused the Snorlax to snort a bit and roll over away from the noise. Though, it didn't move spots as it rolled, shaking the ground in return.[break][break]

"I've got it covered, so long as you can get safely away. This is going to be a hard hit, and I don't want you caught in the rebound!"[break][break]

Mission: Blocks Your Path

Chloe felt herself frowning at the older man's words. Why didn't he want her help? Chloe's immediate thought was the idea that he probably thought she was helpless. It was possible she was just imagining things, but that was a touchy subject for her and if there were any inclination for the reason, she became irritated immediately.

"Keep on standby, Empress," she told her Persian who did not seem at all interested in what was going on. She rolled her eyes at the feline but then she felt the ground shake and she stumbled forward. From the other side of the Snorlax she eyed a Cooperajah tower over the Snorlax. "Right, so he might not need our help after all..."-

Just then the Snorlax rolled over and Chloe found herself face-to-face with the sleeping giant. "Woah..." she found herself saying while frozen in shock.

Nervous that whoever was on the other side wouldn't heed his advice, Asher decided to take another approach. He turned toward his copperajah and gave a tender smile.[break][break]

"Now, I know you're not 'work's number one fan," he didn't paused, but his copperajah snorted at him in agreement. "But I need you to use Superpower to pick this thing up and throw it out of the way."[break][break]

With another annoyed trumpet, the elephant grumbled but moved over to the sleeping snorlax. She was definitely cussing at his large body as she did what her trainer said. Her trunk let off a vibrant glow of

. She picked up the snorlax, who blinked awake and made a groggy mumble, before Bridget promptly threw him out of the way of any citizens in the route or in the town.[break][break]

Now that the snorlax was moved, Asher ran over and took Bridget's trunk, foot on the bottom of the fist like appendage.[break][break]

"I promise, lots of berries, lots." He reassured her while riding over with her toward the snorlax. He wanted to make sure it would be either staying asleep, or make its way off to hibernate elsewhere.[break][break]

And just like that, the problem seemed to be solved in an instant. Chloe watched in frozen awe as the behemoth Pokemon lifted the Snorlax with her trunk and tossed it... somewhere. She felt a frown cross her face as she looked from the direction of the tossed Snorlax to the trainer of the Copperajah.

"Hey! Wait a minute," she shouted to the older as he began to head towards the direction of the Snorlax. "That was totally inhumane what you did! Did you really have to have it tossed like that?" She nodded for Empress to follow her as she headed towards the direction of the Snorlax. "And where are you going now? You're not going to hurt it, are you?" Sure it was a large Pokemon that was a nuisance sometimes, but it didn't need to get hurt.

Just then she heard a large bellow come from the direction of where the Snorlax was presumed to be. "Uh oh... Now you've made it angry." She ran towards the direction of the Snorlax in hopes of calming it down before it started a rampage.

Asher wasn't all that surprised by the girl's antics. Didn't surprise him at all. Teenagers seemed to have this mentality, for whatever reason, that they were meant to save the world. Them, and their pokemon party would somehow magically make the world a better place because they graced the world with their presence.[break][break]

Pokemon were to be held sacred and human life was to be discarded. In reality, pokemon were pokemon. They were not equal with human beings, not according to Asher, anyway. Tools was a strong word, but suited well if they were being used as such. Just like a human could be a tool.[break][break]

Perhaps he simply had no respect for life in general, aside from doing whatever he could to feel... anything.[break][break]

"Take care of that snorlax, will you?" Asher asked as he hopped off of her trunk and she continued toward it. Asher stood in front of the bundle of blonde hair to stop her from running forward.[break][break]

Well hold on now, just one minute. Little Rosenburg?[break][break]

Asher kept his thoughts to himself, but smirked regardless. What were the odds??[break][break]

"I'm sorry if you think what I did was inhumane, but I thought what the snorlax did, was pretty inhumane. Passage through the route and town are necessary and while I might've relocated the snorlax, I assure you, no harm came to the beast and none will."[break][break]

As he spoke, Bridget his copperajah simply played defense and gave the occasional trunk 'bop' as a means to try and get the snorlax to calm down. She was easily able to use her mighty body to counter the snorlax' rage and, eventually, the snorlax did calm and lie back down for a nap.[break][break]

Purrloin -Empress- (Limber): Power Gem | Bite | Taunt | Screech | Slash | Fury Swipes

Her eyes widen when the man seemed to completely disregard her earlier statement and sent his Pokemon off to continue the Snorlax pursuit. He hopped off the Copperajah and when he landed in front of her she finally got a good look at the man. She bit her lip as a blush rushed to her face. 'Mr. Leivern?!' She mentally exclaimed. What were the odds of her running into him? This wasn't good for Chloe. What would he think? Was he aware that she ran away? If not then she could easily play off her not being in Kalos as travelling due to family business-- The only issue was that Chloe wasn't a very good liar. She also really didn't need him calling her by her real name, Clotilde Maximilian, so to play it on the safe side she would have to pretend that she never knew him or 'forgot' him.

"Well..." she decided to challenge with her arms folded. "You can't expect a Pokemon to act humanely if they are human... Mister." she countered. This reminded her of the times they often had debates back when he used to taught her. However, he stated that no harm will come to the beast and that did relax her tension a bit. It would have disappeared completely if a ghost of her past wasn't right in front of her.

She looked around the man to see that his Pokemon was indeed handling the situation as carefully as possible. Looking back, she eyed Empress rubbing up against Mr. Leivern as if to say hello to a familiar friend, in which he was.

"Empress! What are you doing? You can't just rub against... random people like that?!" With a blush she tried to pull her Persian away who begrudgingly listened to her companion.

The pursian rubbing against him had him smiling. Despite the fact that she would likely get her fur all over his very expensive slacks, he didn't mind the attention. He bent down and began rubbing her favorite spots, just like he knew she liked.[break][break]

"Don't worry, miss." He'd play pretend, for now. "I don't mind the attention."[break][break]

Her jabs at humanity and pokemon morality didn't phase him. She had a bleeding heart for pokemon like he had for people. It didn't surprise him very much that she still felt the same way. It was comical to watch her squirm at seeing him, though.[break][break]

Bridget, the copperajah, slowly made her way back over and gave Asher an impatient nudge with her trunk in a request to go back to sleep. He obliged, returning the giant back to her luxury ball and placing it on the back of his belt where he kept his pokemon party stashed.[break][break]

"Either way, you're free to travel to town now, miss."[break][break]

As calm as she should be towards the situation of the Snorlax being resolved, she couldn't help but to be anything but. Here she was, in front of someone in her past, and despite her efforts of pretending to not 'remember' who he was, Empress betrayed her by showing Mr. Leivern affection. Oh, she will have a nice talking when they get back. But until then, what could she do?

"I don't want to come off as completely rude," she started to say without giving him much eye contact. "So I would like to thank you for moving it out of the way." Even though Chloe had the intentions of moving the Pokemon, she wasn't too sure how she could have pulled it off. None of her companions were big enough to cause it to stir, much less lift it off the ground. Maybe she should invest in befriending a large, feline Pokemon.

Mr. Leivern stated that she was free to travel wherever she wished but her eye flew open at the thought of their interaction ending. "Wait!" she said before he started to leave. She sighed as she resigned to the idea of acknowledging who he was. "Are you free? We need to talk, Mr. Leivern..."
