As the stars begin to shine, the only other light she could see was off in the distance , though not too far. It was dim, save for one spot that made her think for a moment that the sun was somehow rising. She knew that couldn't be, so she approached slowly, crouching behind bushes when she was close enough to see that it was a heard of Ponyta.

This was interesting, and she wanted to see the one that was making the unusual dawn lighting. It took a little time, as the particular ponyta wasn't near the edge of the group, but with Absol's help, they somehow snuck past the sleeping Ponyta silently, and found the one that was glowing. It was a beautiful one, though young, and seemed excitable, as it was pushing others playfully before leaping about.

This seemed a good opportunity, so she wasn't going to waste it. There was something special about it, so she had to get it for herself. No doubt it would help her in the future somehow. Sitting on Absol, they made their way close to the prancing ponyta.

However, once they were close, the Ponyta stopped, facing their direction, and froze, as did Absol. All three stayed still , watching each other, Absol with a predators gaze, the ponyta with caution and fear, and Quinn, with a sense of awe she rarely felt. Just looking at it was almost inspiring.

However, time continues on, and the Ponyta cried out, alerting the herd, and they all began to run, and quickly stampeding. Absol ran with them, and at Quinn's direction, followed the glowing Ponyta as best as she was able. Once they got close, Quinn quickly leapt from Absol to the back of the Ponyta, and had a difficult time staying on. Not only did the fire of its mane burn, but it was trying to buck her off at the same time.

Absol did her best to get in its way and trip it up, and eventually the Ponyta did fall, and while on the ground, Quinn got her last Safari Ball out, and used it on the Ponyta. It shook a few times, before settling. By that time, the other Ponyta were long gone, and though hurt, Quinn and Absol were ok. Absol had to carry Quinn back, however, as the fall hurt her leg, and she didn't know if the weight of the Ponyta broke her leg or not. And, so, the Safari Warden would be calling her soon, she knew, and thats the direction they set off in.
