[break][break] “are you the hecklers? from the fourth row?” the door knob rattles in his hand. the magnificent madan cannot get it open but he doesn’t remember locking it. his voice is rising. “well, if you have any criticism of my act know that i won’t hear it and i shan’t respond to it. so, please, ever so kindly jog on you–”[break][break] words die in his throat. the outline of a letter on the uniform is visible when one shifts their arm and his rattling stops. when he speaks again, he’s quieter. there’s still a slur to his speech.[break][break] “you’re here about the money.”[break][break] because the magnificent madan excels in making things disappear. items. pokemon. himself. but devdas madan can make his audience disappear too – just say the magic words.
