[attr="class","witness"]Skarmories and ninja and ash, oh my!

Francie was so excited to be on route 113 again. The route was a part of the mountain and the ash was a subtle reminder that the volcano was home to a lot of happy rock and fire type pokemon. Along with steel and fighting, of course.

Having just finished climbing up and repelling down a side of the mountain, her three lycanrocs following beside her. They'd used their collective rock climb to follow her up and down the mountain. It was an easy adventure and she had been far too happy to take it. Reminded her of the old days, and, it gave her a few ideas for a challenge for her gym!

As she took up her gear and returned her lycanrocs to their balls, she contemplated letting her onix out to let him stretch along the ash and rocks. Having done just that, she sat upon a part of his body while he sunbathed, kicking her feet happily while atop her onix, Nicky.

The one known to Francie as 'Samuel' came into view and she let out a laugh, waving. He'd just come around a sort of corner of the route, and she slid off of her onix to make her way over toward him.

"Sam the man! Hey there! What're you doing around here?"

Francie's returned greeting was interrupted by a bisharp. A very angry one. Oh no, did they get in its territory?! Francie had about told Oscar they should leave, when Oscar decided to battle it.

Some people were like that, though. Francie wasn't much like that with anything save rock pokemon. Speaking of, she glanced over at her onix as he let out a noise that often meant something was in his territory. The great big rock snake quickly buried beneath the ground with dig before unleashing an earthquake that was only big enough to effect the sirfetch'd that had gotten angry and approached him. that dig and earthquake caused a rock slide as well. Each attack hit the sirfetch'd before he could even get a hit out, finalized by the resurface of the onix' dig, tossing the sirfetch'd out of the onix area.

The great bolder snake laid back on the side of the mountain with a groan as it relaxed once more.

Francie was distracted by Nicky her onix until Samuel spoke, at which point she turned her attention back to him and gave a bright bit smile.

"Oh! Me? N-no, I don't need a spa day."

Then it dawned on her that he might have meant, what was she up to, and then she let out a nervous laugh.

"U-Unless you mean what am I doing here, in which case, this is where Nicky likes to sun bathe the most. It's the perfect size for him and usually the pokemon leave him alone. They're in rare form today. Must be the ninjas..."

[attr="class","witness"]Francie watched the whole scene with Grievous behind Samuel. Watching a pokemon with such a drive, it made her want to battle. Why? Well, why not?! He was incredibly strong!! The fact that Oscar just ignored the antics didn't surprise Francie given her time in the gym with him and his pokemon.

Her eyes found Samuel's and she shrugged her shoulders, in regards to the ninjas.

"From what I understand, Lavaridge trains them on mount Chimney. They've been doing it for years, or something. It's a tradition thing. And if they surprise somebody and get the upper hand, and win, then they graduate to the next level. At least, that's what I've heard. The ninjas themselves don't talk about it."

A shrug later, and she was looking over to a very reckless mienfoo who was approaching her onix. Nicky seemed pretty much unbothered, until he was picked up and thrown out of his spot by the mienfoo, who gave a huff and a puff at the onix while lecturing him seven different ways about how this was a route they would all share thank you very much.

Francie let out a laugh, having caught the onix in the air with his heavy ball so that they didn't get crushed. No big deal. Her other hand was used to release her tyrantrum, Ty.

With that strong jaw of his, the dragon immediately let out a screech of a roar, no damage or status just territorial attitude, before chomping away at the mienfoo who looked a little worried. But, he showed fighting spirit. The two tussled for a few moments but in the end, Ty's strong jaw ability helped in crunching the poor thing one too many times.

Mostly out of pity, Francie tossed a ball to catch it, and take it back to the pokemon center for some healing.
