In her wake, Thea has left slight imprints in the tall grass. Blades of grass sweep up her dress and her fingers brush the soft tips. On occasion she pinches the stalks between her fingers, tugging strands into the palm of her hand to pick at.[break][break]

She travels with a Pumpkaboo who bounces around in the grass ahead of her. It seems delighted to be out and about, and she keeps an eye on it thanks to its soft glowing belly.[break][break]

"Not so far, Pumpkaboo. I can't see you if you stray too far."

The feeling of something watching her, or maybe sensing her, brings Thea to turn around and look over her shoulder before the stranger speaks. But his greeting is not ignored. In fact, the woman smiles softly and dips her head.[break][break]

"Good afternoon. I wasn't expecting company."[break][break]

She glances back at the Pumpkaboo who has apparently picked a fight with a territorial Salandit. He and several other of his kind hiss and spit at the base of some sort of tunnel. Thea waves for the ghost-type to come away from the danger, leaving the Salandit to their work.

galahad motions to the north at the two pokemon in the near distance. they keep to themselves for now and they don't seem hostile, so alexander doesn't react. his phone then buzzes and pulls him away from the conversation.

"sorry, i need to step away for work. it was really nice meeting you, though. my name is alexander."

it's unlike him to end a conversation in this manner so he dips his head, feeling guilt as he places a hand on galahad. they TELEPORT away.
