[attr="class","giada i"]god, could it get any hotter? while ac is a blessing, it only gets you so far. and to make matters worse, there's only so much you can take off. it's not like you can take off your skin to relieve the heat. ugh.

her nose scrunches as she watches him douse his sharpedo with water from her spot beside the umbreon. her skitty, bless her little heart, is content to try and swat a paw at the hose. always playful and always following abner wherever he happens to go. it's cute, she decides with a light laugh. her attention is snagged by the water, however. man it must feel nice... "hey," she calls, a hand rising to sweep messy blonde hair over one shoulder. anything to keep it off her neck. "soak me next?" it's only half suggestive if she stops to think about it.

when he shifts to begin blowing up the pool, the skitty naturally scurries to join him. mewling for attention, rubbing herself into the sides of his legs. the sight brings a grin to her face because really, her too damn what a mood.

[attr="class","giada i"]realistically, caramella had been more than content just existing next to him. but being scooped up into his arms? the purrs that rumble out from the skitty are abnormally loud as if she wants to make a point to show just how much she likes him. her chin settles onto his arm, cuddling up with a swish of her tail.

as soon as the pool is set up, giada's already rising from her spot. too much heat, not enough water. she pauses, however, as abner turns toward her. and while most cats aren't exactly fans of water, the skitty he's holding has always been a little strange. like rubbing against her wet legs after a fresh shower or trying to climb into the bath with her.

"definitely in," she laughs. as if further cementing her answer, the skitty mewls in agreement.

the blonde doesn't bother to wait before sliding in front of him to step into the pool. a satisfied sigh escapes and she's sinking in with a lazy grin. "thank god for pools."

[attr="class","giada i"]he really just yeeted her skitty into the pool... anger rises for a moment before settling, the blonde deciding it's too hot to get her panties in a twist right now. even if her features shifted into a scowl and refused to relax yet. besides, the pink cat mewls excitedly and swims over to him for another go. apparently just like her trainer, caramella also enjoys being thrown around? yikes.

giada squeals as water practically hits her in the face from him plopping into the pool. she's quick to dart a hand across the water, to splash some back up in retaliation. the water feels nice, though, against bare skin. she sinks a little further into the pool, entirely too content with both her shirt off and his body close to hers.

"and that's a bad thing because...?" she questions. electric fuzzballs are kinda cute, he's just being mean.

[attr="class","giada i"]okay, she can see the point. it's too hot to hunt for something, let alone comfortably exist.

"definitely still hot," she murmurs. even the water in the pool feels only a little bit cooler than the temperature outside. ugh. really, how does anyone do anything in summer? it's sticky out and god, sweat.

giada watches the exchange between abner and his vaporeon with an amused smirk. and while she's appreciative of the ice beam and the colder temperature, she's definitely enjoying the duo interacting more. cute... who knew he was snuggly with his pokemon?

her skitty curls into a wet heap of fur on his head, tail flopping to swish against his shoulder. she's content and lazy, now ready to sunbathe and dry her fur. "my hero," she giggles toward the vaporeon. and with that, she happily sprawls out with a sigh.

someone remind her to get a pool of her own. how she lived without one before is beyond her.

[attr="class","giada i"]time feels like it floats on by the longer they're in the pool. whenever the vaporeon leaves, she doesn't notice. her head has long since tilted back against the squishy edge and her eyes have fluttered shut. if anything, she's slipping into a small cat nap.

her skitty has the same idea. folding herself into a ball atop abner's head, sleep overtakes the small cat easily and light rumbling snores escape.

eventually, however, the heat eases up and giada's lazily opening one eye to peek up at the sky. maybe the sun will set soon? who knows. what she does know is that her body is staring to prune and she's ready for an actual nap. a foot drifts to nudge at abner's, her head turning to glance at him. "come on, we're gonna get wrinkly."

she rises a moment later to slink out of the water and find a towel. more relaxation can follow inside, where she won't have so many wrinkles to her skin.
