Born to a mother who was an inmate on death-row for the murder of her father, Riley has always been in the system. She raised in foster care in Slateport City. At an early age she was subjected to things a child should never go through; assault, child abuse, negligence, molestation, and harassment. Her mind broke a long time ago. She ran away from foster care at the age of ten when her social worker denied her from going on an adventure and escaping the rough life of being trapped in the system. Riley lived on the streets for a long time, having fled Slateport and ran to Mauville. She was constantly back and forth between the two cities, stealing goods of the ports and returning to Mauville to sell it for a profit. She came across her first pokemon, Budsie, on the route between the two cities and the two quickly bonded. Bud has been casted out from his pack and was struggling at hunting on his own. Riley had made sure to always bring Bud back food on her treks between the two cities and Budsie quickly took to her for it. Now with a pokemon on her side, Riley fell deeper into the streets.[break][break] Throughout the years she has moved from Mauville City to Lilycove. Pretty theft developed into larger scale crimes; burglary, grand-theft, murder, drug-trafficking, etc. Soon she created a name for herself as the "Queen of the Cove" in the underground world and rose to one of the top drug smugglers in the region. She was the go-to girl when you wanted someone disposed off or intimidated, when you wanted a heist performed, in need of pounds of various illegal drugs, or any other deviant thing you can think of. While Riley felt like she could do bad on her own, she soon found herself joining Team Rocket to further expand her criminal portfolio and name in the criminal underground. She has her own little band of criminals whom are mainly consists of run-away foster kids who she has become fond of and taken under her wing. [break][break]
