Leon couldn’t argue with the assessment, he did indeed have a slappable ass and good genetics. “You’re not wrong.” A confident smirk spread across his face as he reached out to brush some wet hair away from their face. “You’re not too bad yourself.” Leon winked with an amused look on his face, obviously teasing them.

“Nuh-uh. I’m not going to wimp out of eating the spicy stuff after you’ve been enduring this heat for me.” There was too much pride on the line for such a thing, he wouldn’t be defeated by some spices.

“How did you think I got so pretty?” Leon smirked slightly, leaning backwards against the wooden bench. “I got used to the humidity, days on the beach and nights by the lake.” A hand reached up to smooth his hair backwards, eyes shifting downwards to take in the full appearance of the man he loved. “You are sexy as fuck, I’ll give you that.” He winked with his response, purposely omitting the comment about their dick size, that wasn’t important for such a submissive and breedable bottom after all.

“I’ve never had hotpot before. Do you think I’d like it?” A nice dinner between the two of them did seem like the perfect capstone to this evening, he wasn’t opposed to trying. “How many people do you think fuck in these sorts of places?”

That would only make me want to hold your hand even more, amore.” An alien monster wouldn’t be enough to tear him away from his first and only love, there was little he wouldn’t do to be at their side. “You’d have to do far worse than that to scare me away.” He smiled, offering another kiss on their head, affection to affirm his words.

“I’m never spending money on those idioti again, last time I bought them a toaster oven they ruined it in two days. Animals were making grilled cheese in there and nearly burned the entire apartment down.” Leon sighed, clearly exasperated with his living situation. “I’m actually saving up for a place of my own, so I don’t have to live in this nightmare.”

An immaculately dressed Leon entered the room beside Chu-e Choi , wearing only designer labels and jewelry thanks to a recent heist he’d carried out in Rustboro City. He couldn’t come to something like this looking like some sort of peasant, could he? Leon didn’t bring a Pokemon with him to the event, knowing his company with his boyfriend would be enough to satiate his normal levels of narcissism. Besides, his Pokemon tended to be on the more violent end of the spectrum. “Have I mentioned how handsome you look yet, bellissimo?”

Leon leaned down and pressed his lips against the others for a long moment, wanting to mark his territory in front of the entire crowd. Chu-e probably wouldn’t appreciate him laying out some League loser because they were getting too familiar with them, so he had to make his intentions known. “Nice to meet you too, amico. I’m Leon.” He greeted oscar clayton with a smile, knowing that Chu-e had spoken highly of the man in the past. “Do you want to go get some drinks, amore mio?”

“You can still do all those things, Chu-e.” Sympathetic eyes looked down upon him, feeling as though this transition couldn’t be easy on his boyfriend. “Just because you have super powers doesn’t mean you can’t make out with me whenever you want.” A small smirk crawled across his lips as he traced his fingers over their chest.

“I was missing you, mostly. I hardly know what to do with myself when you aren’t around.” Much of his time recently had been devoted to being a loving boyfriend, not that he would have it any other way. “Other than that, I got drunk and hustled some rich yuppies at Poker. Made about three-grand in the process.” A modest haul for the life of a criminal.

This is barely even humid.” Leon smirked as he stepped into the room, taking his seat on the bench beside Chu-e Choi . “Are you sure you want to go to Passio with me? Going to be very warm there.” A soft nudge jostled his boyfriend, chuckling at his own tease.

“I can already feel myself getting more beautiful, can’t you?” Leon leaned back and let out a soft sigh, pleased to be sheltered from the cooler climate of Hoenn. “It’s nice to be doing something other than worry about our circumstances though, isn’t it?” A hand reached over to take Chu-e’s in his own, intertwining their fingers. “Something normal.”

“You don’t like it?” Leon furrowed his brow, concern obvious on his face. He always assumed that becoming an Avatar was a boon to anyone who was fortunate to receive the powers, but he never considered it could be a curse as well. “Maybe Rocket has some way to remove it, then.”

Seemed fantastical, but he’d seen some strange things in the laboratories. It wasn’t impossible, right? “Either way, I’m here for you bellissimo.” A hand reached to gently rest over their heart, feeling the soft rhythm in their chest. “You’re still the same where it counts. It’ll take a lot more than this to scare me off.” Leon smirked slightly, kissing Chu-e Choi on the top of the head once more.

“Arceus.” Leon couldn’t hide his surprise when Chu-e Choi showed off more of his latent abilities, uneasy but not necessarily afraid of what his boyfriend was becoming. “So, one of the gods chose you, then? To become an avatar?” Incredible to think they were just discussing this on the submarine a few months ago. Hadn’t Chu-e expressed his distaste for them in the past?

“Was that how you survived that incident where you ended up in the hospital?” He was unsure, but there had been something strange about them being alive after the experience they’d gone through.

“What the…” Leon was certainly awake now, suddenly realizing that what he’d experienced before was more than a dream born of drunken stupor. “...is that real?” This was hard to believe but he knew there had been something wrong with Chu-e as of late, he didn’t expect something so drastic, however.

“What caused that?” He didn’t know anything about the rock that Chu-e licked, so Leon was completely in the dark. “Are you going to be...okay?”

“Do you want me to stay awake until you get back?” His tone was sleepy but Leon would gladly chug some coffee should the other want him to be more present. “Is everything okay? You’re getting me worried.”

Chu-e was soggy and sweaty, but Leon didn’t care. Arms wrapped around his boyfriend and pulled him close, comforted from their shared warmth. “You have to leave so soon?” He groaned, desiring the other to stay at his side the rest of the night.

“Hmm?” Leon leaned down and pressed his lips against their own, a soft smile lingering afterwards. “Everything will be fine, amore mio. As long as I'm here.” A hand rested on the small of their back, his voice softer now. “I promise.”

    Chu-e was away on an important mission in the area of Sootopolis, he didn’t know the details but there was something about Team Rocket taking over the entire city. The entire idea didn’t interest him much, Leon had plenty of clients to sell contraband to in Sootopolis with or without the watchful eye of the League.

    More importantly, his boyfriend being away gave him the excuse to get black-out drunk without being judged. When someone broke into his bedroom, Leon wouldn’t be conscious enough to notice. “Huh?!”

    Leon was jolted from his sleep from the sudden motion of an appendage yanking him into the shadows, followed by the gentle caress of both a tentacle and a familiar voice. “Is this a fucked up sex dream? Haven’t had one of these in a while…”

Leon wasn’t sure how to respond for a few moments, letting silence linger between them after the admission. “I’m disappointed, bellissimo.” A hand reached forward to gently flick his boyfriend in the forehead before placing a kiss on the same spot. “Did you think I would stop loving you just because I won’t be able to spend the rest of my life with you?”

The soup was removed to the bedside table, adjusting himself so he could look into their eyes. “All that this means is that we have to make the most of our time together, amor. I’m not going to abandon you just because there is pain at the end of this road.” Fingers slithered between their own, intertwining in a loving embrace. “You can’t get rid of Leon Vercetti that easily.”
