He raised a brow at the purple haired woman, her actions teased while her words didn't. Lucius couldn't put an exact finger at what she's actually trying to accomplish, suffice to say, he was loving it.

The pale man took off his clothes without hesitation, revealing his scarred, yet chiseled body.

"Have you ever done this before?" He asked, fearing that he might be a lab rat for her to test out her newly acquired surgery skills learned straight from the internet.

He could barely check the metal arm across the other table, so far, it was looking promising for him. Regardless, it was something he truly looked after.

"You should probably give me the run down by now, no? I'd like to know what it does, honey. Just saying."

"Come on."

He'd hiss as a magcargo slowly approached their path.

"Get it out of the way."

With that said, his hippowdon shot out a stream of sand off of its nose with sand attack, startling the pesky snail which caused for it to scurry away. With the magcargo out of their way, the two continued with their trek. Hopefully, something better would block their path next time around.

The toxic fumes became more and more apparent, a bad omen for many, but not for him. He simply raised his gas mask as he continued to push deeper on their path.

He could only hope for one of them poisonous ones to grace them with its presence.

"Right on." He replied with her remark about his espeon's gender.

"I found him, lost and owner-less, I swear. Wasn't included to the ones I stole, I'm telling ya."

His espeon gave Cait a reaffirming gaze. The espeon, now busy with the pair of leafeons, began sniffing the two just as they did to it. It began to paw the nose of one of her leafeons, gently and playfully, as though it was gauging the other if it was down to play.  

Lucius stood up, albeit with a bit of difficulty, from the ground. He positioned himself next to Cait, watching their pokemon mingle with each other just as she was doing. He then leaned in towards her ear, up close with his hand cuffed a gainst it, whispering as though he didn't want their pokemon to hear,

"I'm still not sure how to say he's adopted though." He jokingly said with his usual toothy grin.

"I was hunting for pokemons earlier, I just, uh, took a break is all. And you?"

"Oh, and I wouldn't mind you cuffing my ankles, if that's what you're into, babe." He winked.

He paid no mind to the pair of disgusting pokemon that had recently stumbled out of the tall grass. With the two seemingly alerted of his espeon and her leafeons, they decided it's best not to disturb their little picnic.

He came in time just as instructed.

A specific floor of the hotel was his destination, one that's apparently off limits for anyone else without the keycard he possessed. With a swipe of his card, the elevator moved, down or up, he couldn't even tell. The elevator doors slid open and he was presented with a short hallway with a lonesome door by the end of it.

Lucius tapped his knuckles against the door. With her audible invitation, he entered, locking the door behind out of habit. As she instructed, Lucius sat.

His eyes immediately gazed upon her surgical equipment, all haphazardly scattered across the table as though she was still in the middle of fiddling with something.

"Are those sterile?" He asked, out of curiosity.

"What is this? Why is this?"

He was, for the lack of a better word, batshit crazy. His looks alone gave enough red flags to disqualify a soccer team.

Sin was met with an awkward stare as Lucius watch his lunacy unfold. What's scarier than the masked man was that, while he may claim his words as jokes, Lucius did follow this way of thinking. But perhaps that was from before, when he was bored with no particular goal in mind other than to watch the world burn.

His past self craved for power for the sake of it. Though now, he was more focused, more goal oriented than ever. One might say it's a standard villain revenge plot, a ploy to retaliate by means that are blown into such convoluted proportions.

"Real world don't really work like that. Them colorful villains are better fit for fantasy."

He took a pause, observing two water-types nearing their way from the nearby body of water next to them.

"But between you and me. Once I get to rule this shit hole? I'll start by erecting my very own golden statue, a colossal one, none of those tiny dwarf ones." He laughed, competing with his companion's own maniacal laughter.

A shame really, she would've been a fuck on the fmk scale. If only her bargain didn't sound too forced then they might've had a chance at a free pass. As for her performance,

It was on porn intro level at most.

"Yeah. We don't really want that I suppose. I don't even get paid that much you know?..."

He began to ramble. Though despite him yapping about his, at best, minimum wage job, he still had all of his attention directed towards the pair. The growlithe bared its fangs in an attempt to intimidate them; it was able to make him a bit of discomfort at most, his pokemon were taken aback, though they stood their ground.

"Enough about me, though. I know, why not stay for a while?"

He said, as other rocket members emerged from behind the nearby columns of the parking lot.

"I brought company, if you don't mind. Here's Mark, Marc, Marck, and Markh" He said, listing out nicknames of his nearby associates. "There's more elsewhere, I'm sure we'll meet them soon. Now, every one, say hi."

"Hi." Everyone said in unison, unenthusiastically as one might expect.

"We're here"

Lucius tapped the hippowdown he rode by its side, notifying the pokemon to slow down with its pace. He trekked the fiery path along mt. Chimney with a single goal in mind and, as always, it was to hunt a pokemon he could use for his cause.

The hippowdon lowered itself, allowing Lucius to dismount the beast with ease. Now, the two walked side by side, braving mt. Chimney's heat. As he did expect for wild pokemon to appear soon, Lucius readied himself should it be anything dangerous in particular. Not that it was bad.

Dangerous was what he sought for, after all.

It had already been a few months at the very least, by now, he had already fully healed; one might even argue that he's in an even better condition than before. Despite the loss of his limb, he was thankful to live another life.

Mt. Pyre became his refuge for the past few months, he stayed only a few meters shy from its guarded peak. He claimed its hidden mountainside cavern as his temporary home, recollecting his lost strength with each passing day. Tomorrow, he planned his return to civilization; tonight, he chose to appreciate nature.

Light pollution was at its lowest and the skies were clear. He sprawled on top of the grass, stargazing just outside of his temporary shelter. He never really took proper astrology, though he was thought how to read stars. Granted the stars are visible, he's able to determine his own coordinates just by looking at the night sky, something that might help him with his job as a spy should he ever get lost or captured.

Right above him was lyre, or was it LYRA, a constellation. He tried to trace the star formation with his left arm, only to realize that he had none.

"Oh..." He scowled.

Just then, a meteor shower. Like droplets of gold they fell, and it was gorgeous. The sight was absolutely one of a kind, he would've stayed for long if not for the fact that one was hurtling towards his direction. Lucius scurried away as the meteor came closer, crash landing inside the mountainside cavern he called his temporary home. He peeked inside, curious of what it was. Then, it glowed a vibrant hue, lighting the cavern entirely.

It wasn't a metor, it was a pokemon.

Something he was yet to discover. Then it dawned to him, perhaps he could catch it. He had one last pokeball in his person, something he held onto for six long months. He had one shot at it, perhaps it was worth the try.

He threw the ball, hoping to catch the meteor.

A swellow began to circle above him as he lied flat on the grass, as though it's waiting for the right moment to lunge and take a peck out of Lucius. He raised his arms and shooed the swellow off, startling it, which made it fly off the distance. A curious morelull lingered nearby as well, though he didn't mind the small shroom at all, allowing it to mind its own business.

Eventually, a familiar voice came to call his name. It was Cait, that's for sure.

"Yes, taking a nap."

He replied as he raised his upper half, allowing himself to comfortably sit. As he turned to face Cait, his espeon took notice of her leafeons and stood to face its potential playmates.

He did say they'd meet again, though he didn't expect for it to be this quick. It had only been a couple of days since their first encounter with each other after his return. What a small world indeed.

"Back too soon? Are you here to cuff me this time?" He jokingly asked.

"I mean, you can't, you know. Unless I'm cuffed to you, then maybe, babe."

"Looks like we've got company."

Lucius took note of the approaching pokemon, buizel and magnezone, an odd pair. His espeon was alerted just the same, eyeing both wild pokemon as it kept its ground.

"I don't suppose you fancy the magnezone?"

Lucius asked as he did aim to nab the pokemon. He could find great use out of it considering its destructive skill set. With that said, Lucius focused on the electric type. At his command, the espeon shot a pulse of purple energy with psychic followed suit by a wave of confusion.

"You should probably take care of the other one." He told Sin as he threw an empty ball at magnezone in an attempt to catch it.

"What are you looking for, anyway?"

Lucius had been assigned to man an area together with various other grunts, with a bit more experience than anyone else, he was given the responsibility to manage the place.

They got their hands on a league member, knocked her unconscious and was presented as bait. They managed to trigger her device, sending a distress signal for other league members to see.

The entire parking lot was all but a big trap, plagued by rocket members on every turn.

League sent a pair to retrieve their bait; it would've been a shame if they were all captured. Lucius acted accordingly and followed their echoing voices, outpacing their movement as he aimed to block their path. Other grunts followed suit, taking a different route to surround their prey. Soon, every pillar, every turn, would be manned by a grunt or two.

He then emerged from the shadows, a few meters ahead of them, blocking their way.

"Well then, leaving too soon?"

His espeon stood by his left and his doublade floated by his right, both ready for conflict.

"Watch our backs." He instructed, entrusting his associate to warn him should anyone come into sight.

Infiltrating the structure was child's play, he had been doing it for years that he's now capable of doing it with one arm out of the equation. Lucius jammed a lock shank on the electronic keypad that kept the back door shut. He gave it a few twists and turns and, after a few seconds, the door gave an audible click. Lucius retrieved his lockpicking tool and gave the knob a twist, opening the door as though it was magic.

The task would've been much easier if the office didn't operate 24/7. They had to disguise themselves. He wore a lab coat at the time, making it easier to conceal his missing arm as he tried to blend in.

"We'd have to access the server room," He discreetly whispered for his companion to hear.

"Get to their records, plant the info, erase our target's profile, take him out, and our operative should start his first day tomorrow."

He cleared his throat as an aimless office worker walked by.

"You do have the flash drive, right?"

He asked, though he too had a duplicate should anything happen, he still made sure.

The rustling of leaves grew louder and louder.

Lucius ran at remarkable speeds, impressivly keeping his balance despite the missing arm. He ran side to side with his espeon, and before them, a rattata; that mangy little thief, rattata. He would've already struck it, killed it, and fed it to the meowths if it didn't carry his expensive, stolen watch.

As it turns out, it was hard to swat a thieving rat if your only arm was occupied by said thieving rat.

Eventually, after minutes of cardio, he'd trip. He rolled foward towards a clearing where he sprawled stomach first. "That shit." He growled as he had lost sight of the rat. What a waste indeed, that one was particularly hard to steal.

His espeon finally emerged from the shadowy forest as Lucius rolled over on his back to check on it. It stared down at his master, somehow seemingly dismayed.

"I know." He groaned as the espeon curled up beside him.

He smiled mischievously, Lucius climbed his hippowdon just as she did with her tropius. Tension lingered in the air no more. He could only smirk now as he'd recall their past, and only, encounter with each other.

"I'm sure of it, babe."

He continued his descent as she flew up with her tropius. Perhaps it was a coincidence meeting her; for her to be the first face he'd see on his return to civilization. Perhaps they'd meet again, not that he could tell. Though one thing's for certain; he couldn't promise her what she had asked of him.

Trouble was coming, there's no point in denying.
