His eyes went saucers at the sight of the very super effective move land on the Gyarados, he hoped that the Pokemon was not that damaged by the electric type move.

He couldn’t help but to grin at the question, as if amused, ”Relax, I’m fine. Have some faith in me and my Pokemon,” he answered and commented while rubbing the Milotic he was sitting on.

The Gyarados was definitely weakened, but it could still move. Out of fear of being hit by another electric type move, it retreated back into the water. 

Mason hopped off from the Milotic, eyes at the Torkoal. He walked slowly towards the scared Pokemon to inspect it further. The Milotic stayed behind the boy like a protecter, just in case anything happens. 

He kept a distance between him and the Pokemon, before sitting down, resting his arms and chin on his two knees. He didn’t know what to do. He wasn’t a Pokemon expert, but he did not like to see Pokemon in distress.

So he started humming. He hummed a tone that his late mother used to hum to him when he was smaller. 

The Milotic seemed to caught up on this and closed her eyes, before green energy began to glow from her and radiate around the beach. The green aura soothes the heart of everyone in the distance, including the Torkoal.

A smile appeared across the boy’s face. He forgot that his Milotic could do something like that. He was also glad that things seemed to calm down a little. All they needed to do was to wait for the rangers to come.

His Larvesta and Turtwig, Vesty and Twiggy had fully evolved a couple days ago, and Mason had decided to change their names to Elio and Terry. Definitely a more suiting name for the powerful looking Pokemon.

Mason was riding on his Torterra, Terry, along route 115. The tree that grew on its back provided shade for the boy. ”Hmm...” the boy hummed, as if ruminating something. 

”You and Elio have become very powerful compared to last time, I doubt we can ever train safely ever again.” he talked his mind to his tortoise-like Pokemon. 

What he said was true nevertheless, the Torterra can cause the ground to crack open, the Volcarona can summon a sea of fire as it battles, and his Milotic can create a huge wave that would definitely cause damage if not used wisely. 

The boy sighed, the moment he thought that he was ready to become a professional Pokemon trainer, a new problem arise. He need to train his Pokemon on how to restraint their power, and not hurt the ones they did not intend to.

He was definitely worried about Terry’s newly learned move, Earthquake. The other day, the earth almost ate him and the opposing team’s trainer because of the move. Yet another sighed escaped from his lips.

As he was worried about that, a Pokemon was hiding in the bushes, ready to attack as it felt threaten by the giant turtle-like Pokemon.

”Ouch!” the boy exclaimed as a shell hits his head. He turned around while rubbing his head, looking for the one who threw the shell at him. 

An Oshawatt, shell in hand, began yapping at them. Mason actually found it cute. ”Hey, there’s nothing to be scared of,” he said as he lifted both his hands up to show that he had no intention of harming it. 

But that had no effect on the Oshawatt. This was proven when it charges at Mason with the Razor sharp Shell. Luckily for him, his Larvesta intercepted with a Flame Charge, knocking it away from the trainer. 

”Alright then, Twiggy use Razor Leaf!”

The Turtwig swung its head, then razor sharp leaves began to fly from the plant on its head towards the Oshawatt. The attack hits, knocking the Oshawatt backwards a bit.

Mason didn’t waste this opportunity. The Oshawatt seemed like a really good Pokemon to battle alongside with. He threw a Poke Ball at the weakened Oshawatt in atempt to capture it.

The Mightyena’s Snarl made the Larvesta take a step back, as well as the trainer Mason. He lost his grip right then, and when the Hyper Voice was used he grit his teeth and tightened his knuckles. He would not give in. 

”Vesty, Flame Charge and Bug Bite!”.

Like the trainer, the Larvesta also refused to give in to the loud roar of the other Pokemon. Crimson flames began to cloak the fuzzy white Pokemon before it charges directly at the Mightyena with the intention to bite it if it made contact.

Mason let out a couple laughters when the other suggested that there might be some treasure hidden somewhere in the village where nothing happens. He found himself enjoying her company, they’ll be good friends for sure. 

”Oh yeah, sure! I’d be happy to!” he said before finishing the rest of his iced latte. He then grabbed his book and placed it inside a backpack that was hanging over the chair he was sitting on. ”Shall we?” he asked with a grin.
