She notes the way that Ollie flinches beside her, catching his attention with a few tongue clicks before nodding her head to the sight up ahead - A kaleidoscopic ocean of flowers, each blooming beautifully as the last breaths of autumn flow through them.

With a nod, he's off, disappearing in a scatter of petals. The heart of the flower field lies ahead, brushed by gentle winds and a strange sense of warmth.

It takes seconds for his words to register, and just a fraction of that time for the reactions to be clear. Ollie slows to a walk, occasionally glancing back to her before continuing his trek through the brushes. Eventually, they do stumble across the aforementioned corpse, mangled and riddled with bite marks from head to toe.

She spares it a minute of her attention, then turns away with a sigh. With her mind less focused on rushing to rescue, Zahra finds the opportunity to scan her surroundings, picking up on the unnatural twisting of branches and scratch marks etched deep into wood. Blood is scattered all about the flora and dirt has evidently been kicked up in a struggle.

"Shoulder height scratches... Probably a Zoroark pack somewhere close. Defending their young, maybe?"

Though her words are directed to Lance, her gaze is clearly directed towards Ollie with the way he gingerly teethers around the dead. He's no stranger to the cruelty of nature, but that doesn't make him any more immune to the gruesomeness of it all.

Silence and shock that ripples through her body, a need to tear herself out of a spiralling train of thought just to focus on the present - There's no doubt that she's caught on the idea that they share similar looks. Perhaps, a little too similar to just be a seasonal trend. Still, she finds no reason to harp on it when the other is already dismissing the possibility.

She smiles at the offer but gently waves it off. "Not one for drinking, can't really hold my liquor... a real pity, if you ask me." If it had been her and her alone within this spacious bathhouse, she might have been a little bold. However, in the company of another, she finds herself fretting over the little things that a loose tongue won't be able to keep.

"Where you from?" Something (hopefully) light to start them off, Zahra figures there's no harm prying in the little time that they'll spend together. "If you don't mind me asking, of course."

Ollie has never been wrong when it comes to being a premonition of disaster but for this once, she prays that this won't be the case. She spares a look over her shoulder, checking if Lance is well and truly keeping pace or if he's found himself left behind.

Too many hours in a day and not even sunscreen to last that long. Hell, she'd even tied her hair up and wore a cap. Even then, the sun spares no one under its gaze, roasting her alive faster than she can even afford to say any god's name in vain.

Paired with the soothing chorus of incoming winds and brushing waves, she's vaguely reminded of her time in Sootopolis - A time that she probably won't be getting back anytime soon, if she has to chance a guess. Regardless, now isn't the time to listen to her heart but her head, her gaze briefly flickering to the other before focusing back on the road ahead.

Even without instructions, the Lilligant is already responding, her soft dance turning into a sweeping waltz as she disperses a cloud of Sleeping Powder. It falls upon the Sandacobra and clings to it like a soft mist, seeing that it might thrash and struggle but never be able to escape. Soon enough, its movements grow less erratic, dying down into mere quivers before it collapses into the sand.

As silence falls over the field, Zahra takes the chance to creep up to the snake, cautiously prodding at it to confirm if it worked. And as soon as she's sure of it, she grabs it by the torso, flinging it at Boruta with a relatively slow pitch.
