Amplexus hovers silently along, and eventually checks on him. He simply shook his head and murmured a quiet thanks. “Make yourself at home.” He said to the Gardevoir. His own pain meds had kicked in and all things considered, he was mostly fine. Onyx was the one with a bullet lodged in him minutes prior. [Break][break]

He shivered at the strange smell before looking as Onyx sat himself down. “Yeah, really.” he let the silence hang, looking at the assortment of medical supplies he'd bought for Onyx before moving the pain meds and water a bit closer to him. “C'mon, its been a day.” [Break][break]

“Thanks by the way…for getting me out of there.” He added, a bit more quietly. “It wasn't the reunion I envisioned.” Then again what had he imagined would happen? Onyx would come back? Andres would find him? The uncertainty of their future together had been something he had actively ignored. But Onyx had found him again, somehow. [Break][break]

And now Andres was letting him fix himself up in his home, unblocked his number, and was actively trying to her nurse him back into good spirits. [Break][break]

"Ok..." Andres' gaze lingered on the pair wanting to get up and just building up the nerve. Because really, what the fuck was he gonna do about...whatever Onyx was planning to do. He meets Amplexus' gaze with his own, still worried. But the Gardevoir didn't seem worried, and in a way, that gave him a bit of relief. [Break][break]

As Onyx and his partner get to work Andres looks away and hums to himself to block out the noise. The sound of him rustling in his plastic bag of goodies over and over again accompanies the few pained grunts and hisses Onyx uttered. [Break][break]

Andres doles out a strong dose of pain med and cracks open a bottle of water, setting it all aside for when Onyx finally walked over to him. He opens a first aid kit, producing sterilized kits with suture needles, butterfly bandages, numbing cream and disinfectant. That too is set aside for Onyx before he opened up a compression bandage and gauze to help clean the area and cover it up tight. [Break][break]

He hears something tink in his sink and he finally has an inkling of what kind of injury Onyx was dealing with. "Can you walk...?" he asked, not turning to look at him just yet.

“That's what that was?” Andres asked, laughing as he searches for Onyx's lips but is satisfied with burying kisses over his face. They get more and more tangled in each other and Andres doesn't stop for a second to think about what that means. He just revels in keeping Onyx's eye on him and hoarding him away from the world. Even if it's just for a little while. [break][break]

Onyx's fingers burn on his skin and he found his own fingers moving off their face and over his chest. He can't see any bruises in the darkness, but if Onyx hurt...he'd tell him. If it was bad enough. [break][break]

His heart rattles in his chest, urging him to hurry up, but it's so rare to catch Onyx like this he wants to slow down and savor. It turns out, they're both impatient by nature, even as Andres tried to temper it. The impulse was still there. He wanted to rip the stitching that held Onyx's being together and sift through every piece of fuzz and stuffing- [break][break]

Andres tries to and fails to hold back a laugh before laying down on his chest, fully trapping Onyx in his bedroom till morning. "Weird way to ask to spend time with me." he said, grinding against him without meaning to as moved to tug Onyx's underwear off. [break][break]

"I'll take you tomorrow- after breakfast." his words are hurried, uttered automatically as he found himself unable to focus on anything else.

Andres can't hide the grin rising to his lips at the easy confession. He hadn't ever meant to bring up the cute pokes left in his mailbox. But he'd kept the notes, pressed and carefully hidden away somewhere dry and safe. And the pokeballs- well- of course he used them. He spoiled the pokemon inside. He just hadn't had much of a chance to show him yet. [Break][break]

“I- yeah, if you need it. Should I start you a bath?” Andres had an inkling he didn't actually need to bathe. He watches the man in his kitchen and notices the awkward way he sets one of his legs and worse the clothing tied against his thigh. No- not again. [Break][break]

He tries to hide his worry from Amplexus, a futile effort for a psychic pokemon so in tune with others but it's the effort that counts right? “Long time no see, Amplexus?” He offered as he lifted one of his hands to give the Gardevoir a little finger wave. [Break][break]

“Uhh, you mention a tub?” He said, a little louder as he watched Onyx start the stove while holding a spare knife. Shit. Andres tries to imagine what he'd do next. He turns to the bag on the floor and digs through, shaking a bottle of pain meds like trying to call a cat over. It worked with Chuchi anyway, who was missing in action. The last thing he needed was her stalking Onyx eager to tear the rear of his leg off. He needed to offer help. After all, this is partially his fault.

Andres allows Onyx free reign, hissing as the man marks him deep and leaves a throbbing bruise as he drops back into his own bed. Andres follows him, one knee between his legs as he holds himself up to undress. With Onyx's assistance, he's able to tear off his shirt before hissing a sudden, "Shit, Onyx-" Only to laugh seconds after. "Thought you were, pretty quiet on our walk back." Andres replied, a hand moving to tilt Onyx's head up as he bent over for a rough kiss. [break][break]

His other hand yanking off his jeans as he climbs on top of Onyx. Andres pulls away just an inch to ask again, "Sure you're not hurting?" he asked, barely able to hold back this much. [break][break]

"Don't make me take you to a hospital again." he said, half grin in the dark as he brushed his lips against the Rocket's jaw line before sucking a bruise right on the middle of his neck. The first of many Onyx would walk away with tomorrow morning.

Rocoto flutters happily, eager to make friends. The sight of Onyx is a welcome one as he recognized the person who had captured him. Though, distantly. After all, Andres was his trainer now. But he still held some sort of affection for the other man. [Break][break]

Andres watched him, quiet until he's unable to resist teasing. “Miss him that much?” Rocoto lets out a little greeting in turn before turning back to Buru. Andres just leans on the back of the couch listening to this ghost of a man haunt his apartment again. [Break][break]

“Ankle sprain on the usual foot. Bruised ribs, no fractures.” He said.

“Pick out what you need.” He could replace it. He just needed to keep Onyx around a little bit longer.

It was a short walk, but he found himself speeding up with Onyx, grinning bigger and bigger the closer they got to his apartment. He can barely tone it down for the lobby before they escape into an elevator. His own hands find their way around Onyx, sliding around his hip to pull him closer. Onyx's hand is warm and he found himself giddy as they rushed to his door and he fished out his fucking keys. [break][break]

As soon as it swings open, they're both skirting inside and he's trying to lock it without slamming it shut. He just barely gets it done before his brain begins devolving as Onyx drags him along and Andres can do nothing but follow. [break][break]

He laughs, his own hands reaching under Onyx's shirt to begin sliding up his chest. "You nearly jumped me in a dark alley, right after a tough fight in an off brand cage match." he said back. [break][break]

"Can't be hurting too bad if you're that eager, right?"

Andres lets the two bugs eat and get acquainted. Rocoto is a little more energetic, eager to meet someone similar to him but overall its quiet. Andres rests his injured foot on the arm rest covering hiss eyes and simmering in the consequences of his actions. [break][break]

He remembered how quickly everything had blown up. How angry they'd both gotten. How indignant Andres had been and how...hurt Onyx had seemed. All while baking and cleaning, like it was normal. [break][break]

They hadn't spoken since that night and Andres had been too depressed to even get laid. Not when him sleeping aorund had been the crux of the whole argument. He never apologized. He'd waited around a week before blocking and deleting his number. No temptation to call him. [break][break]

He squeezed his eyes shut, covering them with an arm as he tried to fight back how much he hated himself for that fight. For reacting so poorly. He'd been so convinced at Onyx cared, then didn't, then convinced again only when it was too late. [break][break]

Now they're here again. Where they weren't meant to be. How was he supposed to face him? He had no plan. No apology in place. He wasn't even sure why he told him to come over. [break][break]

Onyx makes it inside as he always does, and Andres stares up, moving his arm out of the way. He'd never thought he'd see him again. Andres is silent, scared if he said anything, Onyx would disappear like morning mist. He feels the thoughts buzzing in his head again. [break][break]

I missed you. I need you. I love you. I want you. I hate you. I'm sorry. Don't hate me. Don't leave me. Don't hurt me. Don't die on me. Don't forget me. [break][break]

"Hey."

The buzzing grows louder and thankfully Buru and Rocoto are there to pull him away from it. He sits up carefully. [break][break]

"Buru and Rocoto are eating."

A thinly veiled warning to leave them alone. He looks down at the groceries before gesturing for him to sit. [break][break]

"I got some stuff for you...just in case."

He's lucid, but Onyx is still on the edge and ready to pounce. And he desperately wants to just offer up his neck and let him. But privacy. Job security. Police. He holds fast, even as Onyx pulls away so, so slowly. [break][break]

Andres keeps quiet, still as can be for him. He nearly folds at the kiss. How could he do anything but whatever Onyx wanted? But he steps back, finally, and Andres finds some goddman nerve. [break][break]

He smiles, stepping away and threading his fingers with Onyx's as he did. "Quick walk, hold it together for me." [break][break]

As if he wasn't ready to take his chances 15 ft further in, behind a fucking dumpster where a rabid Trubbish might jump at them both. But somehow, his legs move, and his feet already know the way back. [break][break]

"Dork." he huffs, unable to stop smiling. It's less at Onyx, more at himself. His grips his hand a little tighter, all too pleased to hear one certain nickname again.

Andres sits with one bug pokemon perched on his head. He doesn't mind. He never minds. He likes touching, and in this moment, he needed something to hug. He doesn't hug Buru though, afraid to hurt his delicate wings. But he lets him croon there before getting on the fucking bus and heading to the nearest stop and shop. [break][break]

"Yeah right. Asshole." he huffs as he stares at the message on screen. He leans his head on the glass as the Butterfree crawls to his shoulders. Andres provides another treat, given to him by hospital staff and closes his eyes. [break][break]

He's texting. So that's good. He should be fine right. When he wasn't fine he essentially send a giant raven to nearly smash his windows open to administer medical help. [break][break]

Yeah, and I'm keeping Buru. Looks like a storm. Pick him up.

He's more terse than he needed to be. Than he wanted to be. But its' a good excuse. He's not going to toss the silly Butterfree out. Especially with not an inkling to go. Probably. [break][break]

He rolls into his stop, hobbling to gather supplies again before hobbling back to his apartment. He tasks Buru with the job of holding groceries while he finds his keys and slips inside. He nearly goes to the couch but he'd promised the Butterfree a meal. [break][break]

"Here...I've got some honey and some dry food..." he said gently taking the bag of groceries and hooking it into his arm. He mixes the food, hopefully to his liking. "Rocoto likes it well enough." he said as he let out the little Mothim to keep him company before collapsing on the couch, crutches abandoned. Onyx knew how to get in. He'd never needed a key.

It's been too long. Probably. Most likely. Definitely. His head feels so warm, comfortable as he entangled himself with Onyx. They're right on the cusp of it again. Andres can feel the tension rising between them. Decency dictated he shouldn't hold Onyx so close because that would lead into a whole mess of things better saved for the privacy of an apartment and not the dirty, precarious position of a fucking alleyway. But the thoughts barely budge when Onyx stares at him like that and he feels the world around them disappear. And when he can stop hearing the dull roar of the city barely 40 ft away from them, that's when he slides so dangerously close into going along with him. [break][break]

His fucking neurons were melting in his skull from the intensity of the heat at the back of his head. Onyx gets comfortable, and he gets the feeling Onyx is sizing him up again. Ready to do something unsavory with him, and Andres would welcome it because he had no self control. Not with Onyx. [break][break]

Andres swallowed, half lidded eyes forced wide open. Because, in the back of his mind, he remembered that maybe getting arrested for fucking so close to a pokemon center isn't ideal. Maybe the wads of cash on Onyx were not the most innocent of signs to a police officer. [break][break]

And fuck's sake- he has a job to keep. [break][break]

So with an ungodly amount of effort, he slips a at at Onyx's elbow once more. "We-...we can just go home then." he said, struggling to hold back saying something that would set the man before him off. "You can shower." he said, unable to hold back the smallest of smirks. [break][break]

But not in t he alleyway for fuck's sake. [break][break]

He had a bed.

There's a bit of a wait time, after his initial offloading from the ambulance. His vitals are taken, he's moved around. He gets his limp checked out and a doctor comes in after the nurse speaks with him. Nothing major. Some bruising, but nothing broken. Just a minor sprain on the usual ankle. A brace, some ice, and some rest would do him well. [break][break]

He nods along, wholly accepting of it all. Glad he's not in worse shape. He tended to avoid hospitals. Nothing good ever happened in them. [break][break]

As he waits, his phone pings, and he clicks his teeth at the Butterfree to relay a message. He curls inward a little, as if trying to hide the smile on his face after reading the first message. [break][break]

Andres hunches over, before remembering he was mad at him. And then he promptly reminded himself that he didn't care and was over it. And then he remembered he'd been worried, and frustrated that Onyx had decided to go off on his own instead of escaping. [break][break]

A chill runs down his spine as he remembered the last time Onyx had gotten into trouble. No hospitals. For obvious reasons. But Andres couldn't give him what he needed at the time. [break][break]

As he sat there trying to figure out a way to nudge Onyx to come get his butterfly, there's a last message that pops up. [break][break]

I'm taking Buru home to feed before he flies off.

He texted before immediately cursing himself. A nurse interrupted him, and he looks up quickly. Paperwork. That's all. Quietly he fills it out before he's helped onto crutches ( ugh ). He nods to the Butterfree before murmuring to it, "You hungry?" which is a good enough way to persuade anything to follow you. [break][break]

It takes another 10 minutes before he can text something else to Onyx. [break][break]

They're letting me go. Bed rest for 3 days. Are you ok?

He chewed on the inside of his cheek at that last one before sending it. Please, please, please not that again. Anything but that.
