to help offset the anger the togepis must feel over not being able to jump up on the wagon, ana scoops one up into her arms and hugs it to her chest.[break][break]

ana is relieved when the eggs are taken from her. she pants; who knew carrying a bunch of eggs would be this tiring? certainly not her. if she had, she would've brought help with her.[break][break]

as luka's chansey yeets the EGG BOMB, ana joins the togepi in distress as she gasps only to chuckle at the sight of confetti.[break][break]

"it seems as though we do! thank you again. you really saved me here."[break][break]

her smile is bright as she looks back at luka.[break][break]

"i'm ana."

adding one more to luka's togepi squad, ana steps out of the daycare and is quick to approach with a few eggs of her own. she can barely hold them all.[break][break]

"i must admit this is a bit poor planning on my part, but do you mind if i join you? these eggs are..."[break][break]

she heaves one further up her arm.[break][break]

"heavy! i think they're extra chubby babies."

too late to back out now. even if ana doesn't voice as much, she's glad cyg decided to take the plunge.[break][break]

"that sounds fun! i'm not a big fan of horror but i can definitely appreciate."[break][break]

the answer comes simply as she shrugs her coat off as well. she hangs it on the rack before walking off to the minibar in the kitchen.

"my family's estate is there. it's also where i grew up."

ana soon joins her on the couch by the window, bringing with her two glasses of alcohol; whatever summer prefers.

"you are more than welcome to visit if you're ever in the area."

a similar smile graces ana's features, mirroring the excitement cyg expresses. it's not often she's met with such a reaction so her cheeks flush for a brief moment. she hides it behind her glass, sipping.[break][break]

when it lowers, her smile remains.[break][break]

"is that your dream, then? to be on tv?"

one final sip takes her to the bottom of her glass. she sets it back down, flashes a brief smile of gratitude to the bartender, then stands and takes summer's hand.

it doesn't take long for them to arrive at one of the executive suites. not the penthouse, mind you, but only because that was taken.

the door unlocks to a beautiful room.

"make yourself at home."

she doesn't even need to pull out her phone to check her calendar. she's always well-aware of her schedule even without the constant reminder from her assistant.[break][break]

"but i'm sure i could sneak away for a bit. maybe tuesday at two?"

it's one of her favorite spots in the world. she missed it when she was in sinnoh and would often think of returning. to take a one-day trip just for their coffee and to relive the nostalgia.[break][break]

"let me know the next time you're in the area. i'd love to meet up again."

she muses, images of various commercials floating into her head as she pictures cyg in a few of them.[break][break]

"you certainly have the looks and personality for it. we'd love to have you in one."

"it could be. i'm sure we'd both play it well."

her voice, soft and sultry, travels the small distance between them. a small grin curls as she feels summer's hand on her thigh.

after a sip of her drink, she shakes her head, leaning forward once again to whisper:

"ana," not miss stone. at least not for this one night.

"it used to be rather peaceful, believe it or not. but maybe i was too young to remember otherwise."[break][break]

ana definitely isn't the type to act in the stereotypical business role, but some situations do call for it. still, she chuckles.[break][break]

"that is pretty much most of what i've been doing at devon. drafting business plans and where to take the company."[break][break]

"it's more fun at rotomtv, though! we're really ramping up on marketing so i've been helping brainstorm ideas."[break][break]

which has really helped balance out the staleness of working at devon.[break][break]

"would you like to star in a commercial?"
