calmly, collectedly, ana sips from her glass; eyes never quite leaving her date.

"and yourself?"

she takes cyg's hand, gentle in the way she squeezes.

"it's lovely to meet you, cyg, i'm ana. i love your nails."

a moment passes, and she slips her hand free before sitting down at the table. she picks two glasses of champagne off a passing waiter before extending one over to her date.

"and i love your sense of style."

they'll work something out — it all depends on adrian, his music, and his goals. all she can do is support him.

as people start shuffling around, ana nods, smiles, and takes her departure as well.

"i'll see you around, adrian."

"i don't like people telling me what to do either, so i understand."

she smiles.

"you should send me some samples, adrian, and i'll see what i can do. we've worked with record labels before and while they'll still require a contract, i'm sure the terms of it can be quite flexible."

though adrian may offer his condolences, the shake of her head along with her smile indicate that it isn't required. what's done is done, but the sentiment is still appreciated.

"people of interest, i suppose. i'm looking to invest. quite similar to what you're here for."

another sip is taken before she leans forward.

"what's stopping you from going back into music?"

similarly, she reaches for a glass of champagne as well, bringing it to her lips for a quick sip before placing it down on the table. her gaze falls upon her assigned date for the round.

"so, adrian, what are you looking for tonight?"

her vikavolt buzzes before shooting off in the direction of the footsteps.

"i'm sure we have no reason to rush," her smile lingers as she approaches, "i'm ana."

ceo ana stone just doesn't quite have the same ring to it as professor bertrand garnier does.

regardless, she accepts the invitation, smiling as she sits beside him. her rotoms hover over her shoulders.

"are you traveling, professor?"

"i couldn't agree more."

the incense leaves a brief trail of smoke as ana places it in the shrine.

"all of the above?" she chuckles, but soon shakes her head. "ambition. there are things i'd like to accomplish here. can't hurt to maybe tilt the scales in my favor."

her rotom materializes as well, appearing from behind the shrine in a frantic display of zipping and zapping.

"i'm afraid you won't find much peace in hoenn."
