[attr="class","starrytext"]"i'm just here to play bodyguard." and that's it. she just wanted to make sure no one was harmed by those of rocket. likewise she, too, wanted to make sure that rocket wasn't harmed. with silas gone, as far as songbird was aware, she saw rocket as leaderless and a threat to hoenn still. there was potential for a new silas to arise, she didn't want that.

"plus, i'm also curious about finding such an item. though, in honesty, i rather be back home preparing for my live concert." to have her fans ifnd out that their beloved songbird was a member of rocket would prove to be greatly detrimental. hence why she goes by such an identity. her fans just wouldn't understand. though there were some who saw her as a league spy, she was neither an ally to rocket nor league.

she was an ally to her brother--to the silph family. most of all, she was an ally to herself. if you want change you have to pursue, and that's what she was doing. she could've left this group of criminals. but, for now, she remains. she remains not for league, not for her brother, but...for herself.

"plus, i thought i'd get to see a member of my family. it'd be interesting to have a go at them, it's been awhile since i've fought." that was a lie, considering she had a hand in the defeat of silas. the rocket actress would allow for a sigh to escape her maw, "it's tiring playing pretend. my family thinks i've returned to the league side, yet here i am." that was a lie. she did, but she needed to keep up the act. how else would she explain why she visits lilycove so frequently and openly?

"i envy you, professor dumont. you don't have too many problems," songbird chuckled, "all you have to worry about is your research and science-y stuff." she continued, "it must be nice to be able to focus on the things you love."

songbird had been within a tranquil mood. the aura she once exhibited was different, she was more approachable. with silas gone, a weight was lifted from her shoulder. her goal was to now liberate those who were still of rocket affiliation. it wouldn't be easy, but she'd do her best. "are you not excited to find a rare stone like the others?" songbird's aggron and houndoom were on the prowl. searching through one corner of the mine and the next.

"i hope this mission didn't interrupt any personal activities." songbird spoke with a slight hint of concern. she understood what it meant to place something important to the side for a cause. "i can assure you that this is a once in a lifetime experience. it's best we rockets grab this opportunity while we can." songbird stated with a smile.

"silas is gone. though there are remnants of rocket, they'll be easy to clean up." plus, she still had a few others she needed to help that are lost without rocket.

what could she do for them? only time would tell. for now, she'd continue on, "i think it's time you lift some burden off of you. you served your purpose, dahlia can handle the rest. they have councilman kim or councilwoman freya, they'd do wonderful at serving as the face of the councils in your stead." whispers in the wind to evelyn, she believed the council would be in good hands from here on out.

but it made her wonder, "what about stormy? with you out of office, will she be able to retain her position as gym leader? you did, after all, pull some strings to get her that job due to an incident." there must have been better qualified people. though it'd been sometime since she saw the youngest silph, it made evelyn wonder just would become of her. would the new council member in fernando's place rescind the title of 'lavaridge gym leader' from her?

[attr="class","starrytext"]he was like a child. thankfully he didn't fight her on the matter. she had a plan and that weighed heavily on priam. "they're on the move, so we follow!" she'd grab priam conrad 's hand and led the way. chasing after the trio who ran, bags full of pokeball. as they were getting away, she'd tug the blunette by the palm of his hand.

for sometime they'd been running only to, soon enough, lose sight of them once they were outside of slateport. taking a break to gather her breath. she'd place a palm upon a tree bark. "i know...exactly what's in this area." as they were outside of slateport, there was a nearby shack that was overtaken by many rocket grunts during their control of slateport.

this place was used to host nightly parties. this place, once upon a time, belonged to an old couple. they were chased outside of it once slateport had been taken over. "they're in a nearby shack somewhere close to, but somewhat far from, the entrance into slateport." they were probably using the shack as a safe house.

"and before you ask what the plan is again, the plan relies heavily on you!" she, straightforwardly, spoke. "i'd do it myself, but as a lady i'm fragile and weak. you're the man after all, priam." besides, she rather not get her hands dirty. she wanted to take a break from rocket, not get involved. how annoying, plus she had to keep rocket in check whenever she could. this was her way of doing things.

"we're going to raid their shack. you got a fire-type on you? you like setting things on fire?" she asked the wildcard.

"the league does have its fair share of issues. i mean, kyle lopez told me how there was a 'self-proclaimed queen' roaming about hoenn. i heard that she had a coronation." an event she would've been intrigued to be apart of. evelyn would come to cross her arms together.

"there's a lot of rumors going around about some of the gym leaders, if not all. hoenn's in a predicament, but since when do you allow a situation effect your want to quit something so easily fixable?" it was an unexpected surprised. to see her brother wanting to step down from a highly earned position. there must have been some reason. "with the fall of rocket, you, aside from dahlia, are probably the only person qualified to hold the council together. if you leave dahlia with the current group..." she'd look off to the side, thinking about the potential infighting that could occur.

"...look, you're their leader big brother. there's no denying that. are you sure you wanna go through with this?" evelyn questioned.

6. when her foster father died, she shackled herself to her brother. returning to being that doll she once was and needing to be guided, but not wanting to be. upon shackling herself to FERNANDO SILPH , it clouded her sight of him and made evelyn see FERNANDO SILPH as a manipulator and villain; those clouded eyes were just looking for someone to blame. which led her to running away and joining rocket in search of her individuality, believing rocket was doing the right thing. but FERNANDO SILPH found her eventually and made her realize it was just all in her head, which made her become a rocket spy for FERNANDO SILPH since she was already in.

7. since the death of SILAS BLACKWELL , FERNANDO SILPH and evelyn's relationship is on a better track then before.

8. evelyn's a fighter. an expert at hand-to-hand combat, she's had to physically throw hands with like...two people on this site. :me: step up and prepare to catch some elbows. she's no CHANCELOR MCQUEEN , but she can throw a knee and charlie's angels a mofo in the neck. :uwu:

9. currently trying to figure out if she should stay in rocket as a spy. she's also trying to figure out what to do next with her life. becoming a top coordinator might be placed at the top of her list.

10. she's beginning to show more emotion toward others who aren't from kyle lopez , FERNANDO SILPH , and Cecilia Brooks .

11. she recently met her birth father @sinner . there's some mix feelings in this. he's also a reason as to why she's hesitant on leaving rocket at the moment.

12. the ladies have been assembled.

"we're going to steal, but from our own." he'd probably be confused by that statement, but she was dead serious. they were going to stick to the goal, but they didn't have to specifically carry out that said goal.

"we'll just simply have someone else do it for us." and speak of the devil, there were three rocket members currently committing the act in broad daylight. they were running out of a pokemon center with backpacks full of pokemon. "there's our targets. we're gonna steal and claim their batch as our own. that way we don't have to get our hands dirty," songbird smiled.
