"so, tell me, how's cait doing?" she asked. curious to the female who once served as an associate. the gym leader who now saw songbird as an enemy to the region. "i haven't seen her around. she probably still thinks of me as an enemy anyway, so it's best i do everything i can to avoid her."

[attr="class","leavestext"]"i think it'd be interesting." hands folded before her as she walked alongside the riverbank. a noivern would come to land in front of her. "noise!" it was the noivern she'd helped out of a poacher's trap. "you've healed and taken my advice to come and find me?" and found her she did. "will you please join my team?" the noivern, once again having been asked, gladly accepted songbird's request.

placing the ball upon the noivern's head. it would come to be absorbed within the pokeball. once caught, she began to walk once more. continuing on with their conversation. "watch you fight some self-proclaimed 'queen'? that sounds entertaining." she wondered thought, saying, "how do you think her gym is ran?" covering her mouth, she'd correct herself. "let me rephrase, how do you think it will be ran?" songbird inferred.

the action was beginning to grow intense as the ground beneath began to quake. "ladies assemble." she spoke to the mismagius and lopunny, arising from their knelt positions. calling upon another, she'd summon swampert to the field. on command, an arm extended, "fall down, rock slide!" she ordered.

little did the noivern know, as it broke its fall, songbird would be officially joining the fray. where her brother failed, she'd succeed in his stead. allow her to show you why she's a silph, silas.

over the head of SILAS BLACKWELL's noivern, a series of ripples in the airspace began to manifest--white rings overhead. there were, at most, six to eight of them scattered over the noivern's open sky. with hands risen, swampert would slam them upon the ground. ordering the boulders to begin falling from out of thin air, entering through the rippling airspace's rings.

with the addition of gravity, there fall would be twice as fast and quite hard.


"mismagius, power gem, home in." had the noivern dared to dodge every boulder that fell. mismagius, following up, conjured four ruby colored gemstones overhead. radiating a red light, they were well charge and ready for aim. on command, songbird side swept her hand, "fire!" four rays of light were shot toward the dragon in a linear fashion. aiming to take it down by injuring its wing or enough damage to tether its focus away from fernando. she was well equip to take something out of the sky.

elsewhere, kecleon readied to follow FERNANDO SILPH at his command. prep to move the moment he moved. he was ready to fall in line and become a soldier under his mistress's orders: protect the silph at all cost.

[attr="class","leavestext"]the fierce battle had begun. fernando made his play, silas followed. and as their fierce battle started to grow. songbird would join the fray. releasing kecleon from his prison, it would slither out through the usage of SHADOW SNEAK. tethering itself to FERNANDO SILPH's shadow, following the brother of its trainer.


when earthquake is used, kecleon would emerge from fernando's shadow. only to, then, follow up with ANCIENT POWER. manipulating the earth that was which up-heaved, performing a unison assault as a series of moderately sized, sharp-edged rocks were hurdled toward SILAS BLACKWELL's group.

PHANTOM FORCE was her doorway into the battle. upon her brother's call she heard him and so she came. upon her emergence, alongside mismagius, one could find her sporting a faux leather leotard. an open cropped leather jacket over her top-half, thigh-high leather boots, and half-palmed leather gloves. her hair could be seen tied within her signature ponytail, a black bow atop. upon the side of left thigh was a holster strapped, within it a dagger. upon her waist was a belt that hung lazily to the side where, upon it, there resided four other pokeball.

lopunny on her left and mismagius her right. she'd walk with her female partners beside her. they'd stand at fernando's back, the duo pokemon kneeling behind their female tamer. a sharp, narrowed stare was sent toward the direction silas and co. remained as she stood upon the backside of her brother.

once again they were reunited.

she'd scoff at having to come and save that stupid man (kyle lopez). how uncool of him, since when did he start to lose his composure easily? "i dislike tenacious men." she was referring to kyle. what an incorrigible man. "but i'll have to admit..." she whispered underneath her breath, "...daring men seem to be an inescapable type of mine." she watched as her brother took the lead. ready to follow in suit when the moment struck. for now, she remained on standby.

"i wouldn't bother. people like that tend to be undeniably a potential nuisance--troublesome even." she'd know. she's worked with those who were less troublesome. and if this woman was throwing a party for her inauguration as a gym leader. then the woman was definitely not worth their time.

a swampert would emerge from the water. one that seemed to possess familiarity to songbird. she'd kneel down to give a look over. "it's you, swampy." she'd pet the swampert. surprised that it returned. "what're you doing here?" it seemed as if the swampert had been in search for her since the day she was seen at evergrande one night.

"i remember, you were the swampert listening to my new song." she'd smile. "did you search for me?" raising a pokeball. she'd tap it upon the head, "i'd be honored to have you listen to me sing more." she spoke. allowing for the pokemon to be devoured and caught within her ball. "it's your duty to protect me from here on out." and with that, she'd continue onward with her discussion. standing and turning toward kyle.

"anyway, maybe i should challenge her gym. someone like that needs to be taken down a peg." plus she hated women who were showy. she was a well-known songstress and not even she boasted herself this much. what a nuisance, really. "you haven't started to challenge any gyms yet. maybe you should've went to challenge her in front of everyone." songbird teased. "i'm sure she'd appreciate it."

she had half a mind to beat him senseless. she would, she was a fighter; ask fernando. regardless, they were walking beside a riverbed. many water-types inhabited this place and eve was still in search of her own feebas. though, kyle literally had no reason to possess considering he lacked grace, poise, elegance, and style. plus, he smelled like a dog. it was completely wasted on him.

anyway, with a flip of her hair. she'd start up a different conversation that didn't involve her wanting to drown him, "i heard there's a new gym leader on the block. a real queen so to speak." arms folded underneath her bosom, songbird asked, "does she also possess bitchy qualities befitting of a self-proclaimed queen?" she asked.

a seaking gathered to listen to her song. she continued to sing, allowing an audience to gather. many looked on in adoration of the songstresses melody.

[attr="class","leavestext"]with kecleon hidden in her shadow. mismagius made sure to be ready at her master's beck and call. hidden from sight and afar, but read to jump out should anything unpleasant occur.

songbird adorned for her top-half a black laced cami top. her bottom consisted of a pair of light-washed blue jeans; where, at the edge of her pants, the hems were rolled above her ankles. each step taken gave off a clicking noise, indicating that she adorned a pair of three-inch, black colored high-heels for footwear. her hair was let down, but within it, not her signature red bow, a black bow.

songbird walked within the vacant building she was asked to meet within. whomever they were had no clue who they were messing with. so any attempt to harm her would surely be a mistake. once inside, she'd come to stand within a large lobby. the building seemed to look as though it were once a five star hotel. no longer had it been that of course. how depressing, memories of the invasion were seen in one spot the next.

"what a depressing place." songbird stated. arms crossed underneath her bosoms, she'd call for the messenger, "if i were you i'd reveal myself. i don't like to be made to wait." she was just about ready to set this place ablaze if need be with houndoom.

she'd been on her own for an entire day. it was now night time, the moon was out. she sat upon a metal bench and watched from afar as the moon's reflection could be seen within the still waters. she didn't know what led her to this spot, but it felt nice. the cool breeze, the musical hymns of bug-types, and then there was songbird--humming.

she stood from her seat as lopunny , houndoom, and mismagius watched as their trainer began to walk toward the lake. shimmering light danced upon the still lake, beckoning her to come. songbird--no--evelyn felt inspired. and so she'd stand upon the shore's edge, took a deep breath, and sung a new song.
